Cantaloupe is amazing in jam/jelly on its own but we also use as "filler" when making mango recipes. Trust me blended cantaloupe and chunky mango salsa is amazing! We also use as juice/syrup when making our version of fruit cocktail. It reduces the amount of added sugar as well as increased flavor. Crop rotation can be tricky for sure. We started planting quick producing crops (radish, lettuce...) to use garden space while waiting for next season to come for planting. I never leave open space that can be utilized. We also rotate where we plant our crops. Corn one year, onions next year and so on. It helps keep the soil "balanced" in nutrients which reduces need for amending soil.
I'll try to do a video on it in the future. This is the kit I got, and it had everything I needed - growerssolution.com/collections/drip-irrigation-kits/products/junior-master-gardener-kit-10-row?variant=41559222255797
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the black beans in the wood chips do just fine. I see a lot of people planting in wood chips down here in Florida because its that or sand. Most cities or counties do chip drop and people just spread it out thick and plant in it. Even when it breaks down, a lot of the decomposed material will disappear into the sand. Florida gardening is a whole different ball game. South Georgia is pretty sandy too be its easier to build up the sandy soil than here. My yard is a sandbox, there is no soil to it, its as fine as play sand. When you take a shovel and cut through the roots of the crabgrass and other lawn weeds, its builder grade sand. 🤷♀️🤦♀️

What great tips for cantaloupe! I'd love to try that cantaloupe/mango salsa this year. Thank you for sharing! :)
Corn only makes 2 -3 ears per stalk.
I really need that ant video. Can’t wait to watch it.

Would love more info on how you set up your drip lines. I am following your lead and using weed fabric this year.

I hope they do. So far, so good!
Builder grade sand. Yikes! No wonder I hear a lot of people stick to raised beds in FL.
Hi, I love watching your videos, have you ever tried using Cinnamon powder, I am from the UK, and using Cinnamon powder for ants works a teat.
I tried it for an armadillo last year 😂 but not for ants. Thank you for the tip!
