I can understand Truth giving kefla dodge but wow crit does wonders for her. Once she gets going she can evaporate a bosses health.

Truth out here actually believing that doing damage is literally meaningless.
The problem is she’s only super effective in active which not gonna get on all fights and only for 1 turn, if she had higher built in crit or if he made her offensive instead he might be talking differently
Well it doesn’t matter if she does that unless she is dodging she will die. Gotenks int does similar dmg. I’ve seen him do 16mil x3 as ssj3 but the doesn’t dodge the super and dies. Hence adding nothing to the team cause he didn’t dodge. That you build full dodge. It isn’t the dmg but the dodge.
@@noecalle7557 Kefla has enough defense post super to survive normals, she only needs to dodge the supers, giving her crit is objectively more valuable than giving her dodge.

And global players don’t know anything about how good gotenks is on toppos team, it’s night and day. With how much support is flowing out of the units gotenks is right next to kefla and in ssj3 vs her ssj2 he’s far more reliable with his better dodge mechanic and base SOT defense than hers while also still doing insane damage
@@zackross6173 Sure, but tbh that's because toppo's almost entire team is based on support, Kefla it's more flexible since the only thing she really needs is a orb changer, with 9y Gogeta coming next month helping a lot of teams she's in.
Not sayin the dodge build isn’t good for Kefla but I went full crit and haven’t regret it yet. Them 20 mil crits feel nice brother.
I went full crit 3 additional and 3 dodge she’s goated just like that don’t really need the dodge build when she’s 70% buillt in dodge with 6 orbs

Liking Gotenks better seems wild to me ngl. Base and ssj kefla are so much better than base and ssj gotenks. Ssj3 gotenks dodge is easier but kefla has a lot of options for the orbs, she has significantly more raw defense after attacking (matter for normals, gotenks does not tank all of them), damage wise it's not even remotely close.
I struggle to alwais have 6 orbs to give her, Gotenks doesn't have that problem and has more dodge chance than her as result. If she generated also her own orbs instead with just her AS for 1 time, i'd pick her to push harder without question, indeed

Kefla probably is the hardest-hitting unit in the game transformed. Even outdamaging the likes of Broly. Yeah, Super Vegeta, Freeza, and LR Blue Evolution/Kaioken hit harder but that's with active skills.
I think Broly Transformed may hit harder simply due to the fact he can have an extra super attack but her and Broly are pretty much in a league of their own.
@Mike-mb9pr The thing about Broly is that, unlike Kefla when an LR Super attacks, their attack goes down to 12 ki. Broly does 25 and then that number goes down significantly to 16 or 17
@Mike-mb9pr I got Kefla to barely out damage Broly. But it could be different for other people. Rose in his domain could get up to this level, and Super Saiyan Vegeta after using his active skill.

Because the blues were released at the same time, goku black was a global 1st and if I had to guess they intended for goku black to be a 9th ani level unit, but has to “temporarily” have goku black weakened due to the sync, WWDC is on both versions at the same time, but I get your point

Dodge is never a waste on a character except some rare ones but mostly crit is the right build
I love Kefla. My build focuses first on Crit and then on Dodge. I'm rocking 6 Additional, 20 Crit, and 15 Dodge.
I think kefla is better than gotenks imo. Kefla does double the damage, has similar defense and dodges like crazy with a couple orbs.
Her ssj1 form has better defense than the int ssj3 gotenks after super. The only thing is Kefla has a high chance to dodge while gotenks has a great chance. Kefla has all round better stats than gotenks by a good margin he just has an extra dodge chance
Kefla can get to higher defense stat cuz she has multiplicative DEF on Super in the passive, Gotenks doesnt, also think Base Kefla and SSJ Kefla are a lot better than Base and SSJ Gotenks cuz of that DEF on Super via passive

Gotenks is definately a much better slot 3 because he just gets everything for free. On the other hand kefla is much better slot 2 because her dmg just gets exponentially higher to the point that everything falls over. The biggest difference is that gotenks you can kind of run on any team while for kefla you do need a rainbow orb changer (and the one that works best for her, ssj gogeta, global currently still doesn't have).
@@Yeet42069 The problem with Gotenks its that if you put him slot 3 its going to take a long time to get to SSJ3 and you need to put him on a team where you dont get damaged to much cuz a big difference between Kefla vs Gotenks is that gotenks could not transformed If you take to much damage while Kefla is always going to transform

I kind of have the opposite philosophy when it comes to gotenks and kefla, way more so kefla tho. If they're not getting crits, they're just a big risk of death without much reward, and while gotenks has built in crit and dodge is great, i think kefla would really benefit from more crit in her build since dodge points become less effective on her
Kefla is one of those units you HAVE to build offensively. She can genuinely solo entire boss phases with her insane damage. Going a mix of CRIT and AA would have done wonders for her.
I personally run Kefla on the TEQ SSJ Vegeta team, and she does me very well
Doesn’t make sense to me why pure saiyan fusions aren’t pure saiyan but gotenks is on hybrids

I love you Truth but I can agree here, Kefla is made to be the heavy hitter for mostly her teams, crits it's what makes he a top tier EZA. While I can agree going for Full crit with dodge as secundary, prioritize dodge is the same case with LR Broly, their value is not the same

Kefla might be similar to Gotenks however Gotenks get me killed literally every fight and Kefla has only killed me a few times so between the two I'd take Kefla any day over him easy.
At the start it hurt to see all those 11-13 mil. ATK stats not critting but the build made a lot more sense to me when she did 32 mil ATK stats with super effective later on. xD

I use a Kefla/LR str super Vegetto rotation and it was pretty strong
I feel with her like with god goku you have 6 orbs you good but lower can be tricky
I’m global but I think an option for running her is with Kale with the likes of STR Cabba, Beast Gohan and the teq Caulifla (depending on the event)

I hate Kefla, gotenks, and dragon fist. Hate them all. I go out of my way to prioritize kefla just for her to eat 2 normals for 500k, gotenks just doesn’t dodge, and dragon fist only dodges against ez bosses. It all started once super buu red zone came out, I seriously thought that super buu canceled dodge in the first phase.
