G you have to admit this really brings Ghost recon alive not knowing whats around the corner and sneaking up on you that you would see in 3rd person. Nice work as usual Bro.
@@GmoneyMozartAppreciate the honest feedback G! I'm playing Breakpoint from scratch once I figure out how to do the mod textures/clothing. I want the game to feel a bit different.
It’s def fun. Make sure you have Spartan realism mod. Makes the gun fights better too. No more waiting for enemies to see you when you’re right in their face.
This looks like a much better experience than vanilla. Applause go to Vandhaar (I never remember how to spell his name), Splinter, the maker of the the first-person mod, the maker of the bullet-trail removal mod, and the maker of the mod to remove red explosion indicators. They all made the gameplay better. Of course, applause to G for being the first big author (to my knowledge) to showcase modding in Breakpoint. If there's any chance Ubisoft will make a good GR game (unlikely), then it's certainly due to such people.
Ya man big props to these guys for trying to give life to the game after everything we’ve been through with this title. We need more modders looking to tweak the experience like this and not waste time working on yet another perch or Ak Tibet cosmetic unlock. At this point we need some solid advancements. I think I’ll make a video discussing what I’d like to see from the modding community moving forward.
This First Person Mod looks bowel-loosening-scary - I will definitely need to check it out... though perhaps NOT with Spartan Mod turned on quite yet 😳 Looking forward to seeing what you do with it!
First Person is ALWAYS more immersive. IMO. Even Assassins Creed or The Witcher would be great in First Person. Having the option to switch back and forth would be nice. Especially for tactical shooters.
1st person views doesn't make games more immersive 🤦🏽♂️ Its the interaction with the environments that make a game immersive. Not a camera and a floating gun. It's what you can do in the environments. Crawl through the mud, hide behind trees, open doors, swim through rivers etc
Imo, people might have had to get over the first person, but the game looked like shit. Fortnite mechanics with shit falling from the sky is not what ghost recon fans want.

can't help but ask, i played with the mod myself but the gun seems to be slightly blurred? Have you noticed this has well? Have any idea why that might be or a possivle fix? I've tried messing with video settings but can't work it out

Hey G, I wonder what the first day at work was like for the Ghost Recon dev team after seeing this mod? I wonder if they're allowed to speak about these mods in their development/strategy meetings.
@@GmoneyMozart I mean from their perspective, it would be like the elephant in the room. They're probably close to finishing the next game, so I'm sure some of these mods might influence some of their decisions and discussions. I think this first person mod (and for Wildlands) has them talking about it. Would be great seeing it implemented in the next game.
@@GmoneyMozart Yo G the combat music towards the end of the vid is from OG MW2. I knew it's from something I played the hell of back in the day. I thought I was so familiar with MW2 soundtrack that this can't be MW2 since I woulda recognised it immediately. Turned out I confused myself.
Unfortunately I can't install this or any mod with cheat engine, it doesn't allow me to tick the enable mod thing...:( maybe because my game is from Steam..?
I can see far cry maybe but cod does not play like this at all. This is an open world and with Spartan mod the AI are much more fleshed out than any other game imo. Anyway, it’s def fun with both mods on.

It’s really fun. Def check it out. You can always keep the difficulty low and still have Spartan mod on so you get in fun firefights
Wish nexus mods could fix bullet drop so we could then use this mod to have a new sniper ghost warrior type of game
You need Spartan realism mod. The mod has the parameter for bullet distance. :)
Enjoy
@GmoneyMozart well good thing I have a PC now lol. Do you think the nexus mod will also be available for wildlands like the first person mod?
First Person is ALWAYS more immersive. IMO.

I’m def a third person fan but this game plays really well in first especially with Spartan realism mod.

Def a fun change for the game
Nice 🔫 , i will definitely play again 👍
Awesome! Have fun. Run that Spartan mod too for fun firefights
@GmoneyMozart hell yea, thanks for that one..,,
Makes me think that Frontline might have actually been fun, for us BP vets, knowing the map and all that.

@@GmoneyMozart yup.
was actually thinking of it being some sort of dmz but.
all they have to do is just have a custom mission editor. Thats it.

Absolutely

Probably the same as every other day at the office, taste testing glue and licking envelopes
i still dont understand why the devs didnt put the first person "feature" from the battle royale development to the main game
Too much work prob. This works but it’s broken as far as for a studio to release.
What's the soundtrack? Sound so familiar.
I think it's from a game I used to play a lot, just can't remember which game it is.

If you watch the vid I posted about it, the box doesn’t tick like it does for Spartan mod. Follow the steps and go in game and see if it works.

Not that I want anyone to support Ubisoft, but the Spartan mod significantly changes the game, and, obviously, the first-person mod does too.
