Getting inspired to paint - autumn colours

Jackie Smerdon, a qualified adult tutor, is in Dunnock Studio to help you get painting following a walk in the autumn landscape.
This walk is less than a mile from my home in central Norfolk, UK. I take Millie, our dog, on walks here, sometimes before my art group which is in the area. We are very lucky in that some of these walks are on permissive paths (the farmers allow access), where others are on public footpaths, which we do have in England. Scotland is even better, as people can walk over any open land (within reason) as long as they behave responsibly. If you don't have access to open land, try to visit a park or any space with plants/wildness/animals in it. You can get inspired anywhere, you just need to look!
I used a few dot cards from Daniel Smith art, but you can use any colours you have available. Just let your heart lead your colour choices. There is no right or wrong here. Use whatever takes your fancy!
My choice of metallic paint is from Schmincke Aqua Bronze which you can buy from multiple stores (just give it a google).
