That would require me(or the person doing) knowing that in the machine of this kind has valves that prevent the inks from being drained in the first place, second, knowing how to access service menu, thirs, knowing what and how to select in there to open just the right gate for the inks to be able to flow. In short, this is a more simplified way of DIY if you'd like.
Why not prime the new damper manually, with a syringe ( to avoid wasting ink with the 'fill up' option )?

I'll re-empathise, don't do repair work on the qeuipement you have little to no knowlegdge about.
Companies wont send techs for stuff like this.
