I am a son of a public school teacher. My uncle was a public school teacher. Both of my sister and a sister in law were public school teachers.

The ABC television network no doubt glad a few seconds time delay for broadcasting exist so they were able to pull off some on the air editing such as removing Glen Walz visible negative reactions to her son Gus standing up and showing happy emotion over his dad. Other networks though had different angles of Gus and his mother is clearly seen in them telling him repeatedly to sit down then she finally pulls him down.

Coultier's reaction. Again, I saw her gesturing him and to me it did not mean she was suppressing him, but just being a concerned Mom.

I follow US politics not only because I visited there a lot as a child and have a huge soft spot for America but because the ramifications of this election could affect the us in the UK as well as the world. They are literally running on a communist economic policy. They want to tax unrealized gains... This would completely crash the world economy. Tim Walz is a born leader he has touched me with his speech as a former teacher in South Africa and pension . He's of my age group I'm still having those memories of my teaching years . I started teaching in a big school and moved house then to a smaller school where most of my colleagues and pupils never had any hope . But things changed on my arrival i organized sports and educational tours all of them successfully beyond even parents expectations . Even today my former learners who are professionals now do thank me for that including colleagues . For my age Tim has given me once more courage to more for my community outside education . I hope the Americans vote for the Democrats in the coming elections .

I am happy to say that I have an 18 year-old son (Alex) who is on the Autism spectrum. He is MY beacon in life. After seeing the Walz family and Gus' raw emotions, it warmed my heart. I think about how I wish our world (and especially our country - USA) would be kind and understanding of those who are neurodivergent, Autistic, special needs, etc. I remember former President Trump's shameful mockery of Special Needs / Disabled folks several years ago. And some/many see him "fit" to be the President of the United States? I am not a single-issue (wedge-issue) voter, but Walz's direct experience and compassion around the Special Needs community enhances my commitment to vote for the Harris-Walz ticket in November!
