Hello Double J, thanks again for reacting to Lucy singing "Memory" from the musical Cats, Lucy has this amazing voice she sings Musical Theatre as good as anybody at the moment Lucy is in Japan, Tokyo for her live concert this Sunday 8th September. Mr. Seasons i agree 💯 percent with you. Lucy Thomas would be great for Disney!! She has a few songs she has sung from Disney movies. I don't understand why no one is snatching her up!! She needs to do a collaboration probably with someone huge!! Barbara Streisand would be awesome to see! Her and Lucy Thomas, wishing thinking, but you never know who?? That's why i keep requesting reactions so people can see her and fall in love with her beautiful singing. I found Lucy Thomas by a miracle when i lost my sister "Lucy" 3 years ago to breast cancer and I heard "Hallelujah " for the first time and i cried like a baby but it was a good cry, Lucy is my therapy!! Lucy's cover of "Hallelujah" was used in a film starring Dennis Quaid "On a wing and a Prayer" Used during the films climatic scene. Lucy does play the guitar some and also the piano. She is focused on her vocals and she has found a young pianist named James Breckon. Lucy and James just two days ago on Sept. 8th performed in concert to a sold out house in Tokyo. She was awesome and won the hearts of the audience. She included a beloved song of Japan "Furusato" which she sang in flawless Japanese. There wasn't a dry eye in the house. The concert ended in a two minute standing ovation. I know this all to be factual as not only was I there but I produced the concert. The concert was attended by high level executives in the Japanese entertainment industry and they were blown away. Big plans coming in the future.
Lucy is absolutely super talented. Just incredible beyond words. Possibly the best young vocalist on the planet today. It is almost hard to believe that at her age here she was able to hit this very challenging song out of the park. Amazing!

For your information, no, Lucy has been featured in a movies. Her cover of Hallelujah was used in On A Wing And A Prayer starring Dennis Quaid, about 18 months ago. Also, she did record Brand Néw Day which is for a yet to be released TV series according to publicity. Re her instrumental talents, the human voice is a musical instrument and when you can play that as well as Lucy does, you don’t really need to play any other instrument. To answer your question Lucy plays only one instrument, her VOICE !!!! she was seen playing with a guitar in one video when younger but nothing since, Even in her 'OVER THE RAINBOW' she had a professional guitarist accompany her.....she seems to have focused on her singing, many "entertainers" that both play and sing seem not to do either outstanding, divided attention...At 15 this song and Lucy really captured my attention, she crushed this song, better than the original or any other cover........This song by Lucy just does not get any better !!!!
