Hi, thanks for watching! For birth control, it was something the doctor had me go on. Not sure the reasoning behind it, but it's a common thing before starting IVF. Researching it (not sure if its true or not) I found it can help with overstimulation during IVF from meds, can help manage the IVF timeline, and can help increase egg count
