In my youth, i had a suzuki s1, with 90 cc modified sylinder, 28 mm mikuni carburator, with 125 cc exhaust pipe and 125 cc ignition system. What an fantastic moped. it was with a 4 speed gear box, and it picked up nose to third gear and at third, it goes over 100kph..... i miss my youth.... and that suszuki.... and my dog from that period. Shit, now im in tears. An old fuck, typing in youtube.
I don’t know about cutting the air shroud. I would think it could affect the cooling in a negative way as it isn’t cooled by the air you get from driving it gets cooled by the motors rotor. But really don’t know love the videos still🔥
Yes, that’s correct. The cylinder is cooled by the motor. It is cooled by the fan on the exhaust side which pushes air across the cylinder head. We simply open up the other side to allow the air to run across the head easily. The bottom cooling fins get block by the plastic, especially when it’s touching. So removing that allows all the cooling fins to “exhaust” the air properly. I hope this makes sense! We should make a more in-depth video explaining this in the future 👌🏼
Thats awesome, have ridden supersport motorbikes all my life but its time to downsize to something more practical and easy as to work on. Too many speed cameras these days so something like this just makes sence and use my car for long distance or rainy days. Thanks guys, really good video, made it look super simple.
Great result 👍 if possible, try get the 125cc Piaggio motor with the infamous 172 kit. Torque galore AC/LC doesn’t matter. Piaggio even fitted a great pipe as standard 👌 respect to your build, keep an eye on temps with that motor
That would be awesome! We almost bought a Gilera Typhoon 125 to do that exact build but unfortunately it fell through. I hope to get one soon! We do own a Runner 180 and the Italjet 180 that will be in future builds.
We are in the process of moving to a new workshop and should be settled by the end of May 2024. Drop us an email if you require anything or for updates on the move.
@@urban_riders I'm looking at getting a scooter for my son. Was keen on the BWS but dont think I could handle that 2T noise. So keen on Sym Crox. Would be keen to see what sort of mods could be done on it. Thanks
@@mitchellanddonnabrooke2177 Unfortunately the Sym's we get in South Africa are very limited with mods. Other 4 strokes that do have mods are your Yamaha, Honda and some Kymco's. We do have a video series coming soon with the Italjet 200/300 which are practically the same type of mods as well as installation as any other scooter.
@@urban_ridersok thank you I was told it only open the slide 17mm the same as stock without the modification, is it fully adjustable just with the cable?
@@loisvr6garcia607 I am not too sure of many others outside South Africa. But maybe the Technigas RS100 could work. However I do know they rust easily and are not the best quality.

That’s awesome! We love hearing you guys building up your scoots! 🇲🇽
This made me want to buy one of these 🤩
Buy one 👀🔥
Do it!! 😁
now that's what you call a fun scoot!
Soon to be on a race track too 👀

You won't regret getting a scooter, way more nimble and fun in the urban environment.💪
Nice build. Is it just me or are these scooters the most fun? I have a Dt 175 and a Bmw f650, but the BWS is just superior, especially fun
I have a Yamaha Aerox 100 with the same engine and the same Malossi setup but it doesn't run perfectly yet
What are you battling with @herculestuner ? What's it doing that you want to sort out?
@@AdrianA4M I still have to find the right main jet for the carburettor

I have a 21mm carb on a 70cc 2 stroke
you need at least 30mm
Found a Zuma with a 70cc big bore kit , clean as hell with only 3k miles but ofc it sells when I go to message the lady :/
I need to fix my Zuma 50cc and maybe put a 70cc malossi kit on it. That would be awesome
Do it!! @@DamnnSonnn 😁
@@DamnnSonnn i ended up getting it, its the cleanest zuma i have seen in person
Is this still oil injected, or are you running premix now?
We are still running the oil pump
Enjoying the mod updates. Any chance of adding content on some of the local 4T scooters?
Thank you! Give us some suggestions on what you would like to see and we can try make a video on them.

Hi great video, did you have to modify the throttle tube to get full travel on the 22mm carb slide?
Thank you! No modifications necessary

Never seen a choke like that, can you tell me where I can get one?
This one comes with the carb kit for the 22mm, but have a look on the Malossi website for something that might work for you.
how quick do you think it will be

I cannot find a big bore kit on ebay
You won't find it on Ebay. Best is to buy it from the Europe Malossi Store, they ship globally.
