It's good to see someone who hasn't forgotten about the gun rack
I was thinking same 👍👍
America 🇺🇸
Family values
Back when I was in high school (graduated 2015) they tried to expel a kid because he had a gun rack in his square body
No guns, just the rack
Their whole argument was "well if someone sees it they can feel threatened by it", and he would just go "I've been driving this for 2 years and you're the only ones who've had a problem with it"🗿🗿
@@Patrick.WeightmanThat's ABSURD! They had a problem with the rack? Most people who aren't gun people wouldn't even know what it is anyway! 🤷 🙄
@@Patrick.Weightman crazy ... kids used to come to school with one in the rack so they could go hunting after school or leave early to do so
Everyone loving the gun rack...i was offended by it! It had room for three and there was only one!!!! 😂😂😂
There is 2 😂😂 but yeah, why not have it full lol
I'm Australian. and a proud gun owner see the gun in the rack is great... need more of it..
Look! An actual rifle in a truck mounted rack, going down the road! Wow! The good ole days.
Many years ago when I was a kid, I took my dads antique 38 revolver to school for Show-n-tell. Now days if you had an empty shotgun shell, they would have a lockdown and call the SWAT team. Sad times we are in.
Back in the late 50s-early 60s you could go through the parking lot at my high school and see almost every pickup there with a rifle or shotgun in the gun rack and honestly, most of the trucks weren’t even locked! What a different world we live in today- - - “not in a good way either “ 😞
@@billstev100 Well said... My Cousin's 75 Chevy square body had a rack & it always stayed full.
@@billstev100My high school had a gun club. The school even had rifles donated by Mossberg. I would put my shotgun in my locker for after school shoots and no one thought anything of it. Changing times indeed.
It absolutely baffles me what tourists do
Back home they would never drive their *own* car down a road like this. But when they're hundreds/thousands of miles away, in a completely new area, in a rental car - suddenly they figure "yeah this is a good idea"
City folks in the country sometimes a recipe for disaster
Most of them are Californian self-explanatory 😵💫
1) Some people are just stupid. 2) They need stop calling these vehicles "SUVs", and call them what they really are, which is hatchback cars.
its painfully obvious the depth of the wheel ruts would high center any car, cause damage to any number of things underneath , its amazing how far off the beaten path that a don't give a F-%k attitude will get you. Thank god for trail blazing idiots, they create content and an income for locals.

Welding cart needs a cup holder for marking devices
Hey guys, I love small welding and build videos like this!!!! Do more of these things that you use around the shop!!!! Don’t let any haters bother you!!! They are a very small percent of your fan base!!!
Plus, the rest of us ignore them anyway.
With three boys I don't see a problem washing the tow truck! LoL
My thoughts exactly 😅
I see several water fights in the future if the boys "wash" the tow truck.
@@saginawdan. Yep can’t figure that out either, but it’s not my problem I suppose, but it would make for good content.
Not to mention they have a pressure washer they can use instead of doing it by hand.
It’s
It's great to see a hunting rifle in the back window. I showed this video to a friend who lives in Calf, and he said they just showed a felony stop by highway patrol in Sacramento because the guy forgot to take it down before he came home.
That brings back memories of my youth.....love the rifle in the back window!!!
Same .. I grew up in Georgia and this was a common sight especially during hunting season. More trucks had one than did not. Kids would come to school in their pickup trucks with one hanging, and leave early to go hunting. We also had harvest season where kids would take sometimes weeks off of school to help on the farm. Country living is so much different than city life.
I have often wondered if any of these guys(not just fabrats but any of the rescue people) are smart enough to make sure before going out into a wilderness if they are properly armed to protect themselves... out of all the thousands of vids I have watched, I finally see someone who is not afraid to show a weapon that is so needed if your going to go to an area where you are putting yourself into the food chain every time you leave your vehicle. Good job fabrats and a great example for all to follow!!😁
As you get older working on the floor gets more difficult. They say getting old isn't so bad when you consider the alternative but that alternative is starting to look better as I get older.
I dont understand what people are thinking. If the damn road starts getting bad then don't keep going. Stop and turn around. Is there no common sense anymore? Start making better life choices people.
Sometimes stopping is what causes you to get stuck. Gotta keep momentum to get through whatever you're in. They were probably hoping better road lay ahead.
That old wood truck is my favorite of your fleet. Maybe because it reminds me of cutting wood with my dad.
Fab Rats deserves over a million followers - Spread the word folks !!
I would rather watch this than the "Off Road Games" 😂
I'm starting to get more interested in Fabrication of things and building / repairing vehicles than pulling some idiot out of the sand on a beach when there is literally 200 other vehicles that could also do the job.
Glamis should be fun... Ben is going to the Org
Matts Rats is looking Morr like a daycare. 😂😂
They seem like they would be fun in person but I'm not going to watch hours of it on youtube.
I *AM* watching this instead.
Thank you for allowing Grandlilly in more videos, but can you allow her to speak more? I love her conversations. She is right to the point.
Hoping you all are having a blast at Glamis!! Play hard, play safe😎🤙🏻
BRING BACK THE TRUCK GUN RACK...!!!!!
IT'S GOOD TO SEE THAT ARTIFACT BACK IN USE...!!!!
How we roll in these parts 👍🇺🇸
Damn straight!!
Paul, the buck stops with you, don't blame Hunter!😊
Paul and crew are good people with great content. Keep up the great work.
I second that !
I love the "Fabricating' thing..I'd rather watch you make a tool when you need a tool then anything else...I like stuff like that
Like the gun rack and rifle that is in the back window
Paul, you’ll absolutely love mig Pulse welding especially when working with thick metal ,the penetration and strength of the weld is amazing!
The welds look different you won’t get the sweet dimes more like a machine weld but boy are they strong!
Freedom Factory!!! Let's go!!!
Paul sending it in the free truck in 2wd so people get stuck in his ruts and call for help. Genius move.
Hey, Paul, you should give the tow truck to Michelle that way. Your queens can hang out.lol
Love to see the gunrack used for its original purpose..!!!!
Thumbs up..!!!
Pretty sure Miller owns Hobart now, so it’s all good!
I love hearing the old Hobart humming and buzzing and clicking. THOSE are welder sounds.
When Skill & creative talent collide - amazing utility results !
Paul and the Fabulous Fab Rats
“A”Team are Iron working creators 💥shoutout to Jace 🏀
First time seeing paul ride with a rifle thats awesome love the country. Jayce has a bright future in the game of basketball and a great support from his family. Love the channel yall!
Just remember, when you use four casters, the centerline changes dramatically. If the two on one side swing under the welder, the weight just shifted to the axle center under the welder and makes it real tippy.
That’s primarily why they put non casters on the back. Just be careful wheeling it about.
That's funny because all my 4wheel dollies in the Household Moving Industry are built the same way. All 4 wheels are free to spin. Never had a dolly tip over. And I move safes with them!
The primarily reason for fixed rear casters is so it can be pulled or pushed like a shopping cart. When all 4 spin 360* it's hard to control as the cart / dolly wants to spin in any direction.
@@MrDan1509 I'm betting your moving Dolly's have a wider stance than that welding cart...
@@billbillinger2491 Actually only 19 inches wide to fit through all doorways!
@@MrDan1509 Yea, my welding cart has some nice 4' roller bearing wheels with swivels on one end and rigid on the other end. I also have my Hobart welder sitting on a wooden 2 drawer filling cabinet. The drawers hold my spare roll of welding wire, and my spool gun for aluminum. I like having my welder up high like that so it is easier to change the wire, and make adjustments. The filling cabinet was very sturdy. I had to attach a 3/4 piece of plywood to the base of it to attach the wheels to. I have had it for 20 years, and it looks and works just fine.
There's no such thing as a high end car anymore,
It could be expensive,
definitely not high end.
It's all junk electronics and computer chips.❤🎉
You are really something, I like a man that can think on his feet and do any job, your boys are very lucky to have a DAD like you.😊👍👍
Just switched over from the Off-road commercial games. Always can count on the fab rats for keeping it real!!
Fabrats. even tho you weren’t their this weekend Alot of fans threw love to you all, By wearing your merch at the Games. Love the videos and we will be here for the journey you bring us. ❤❤❤
The Ponderosa needs to get Hoss and Little Joe to take better care of that road.
Boy I really hope you all have fun with your sand rails. And I enjoy whatever you are doing. And sorry I know I spelled his name wrong but you and Shawn are really starting to get in your groove almost like you each know what the other one is thinking. And hunter is so lucky to be able to watch and learn from you guys. He's come a long way. Love how he was nervous about cord not being right but you could hear in his voice he was happy that it worked. All of you have a great time. Stay safe
Smart not getting the wrecker all muddy. Wash only one truck. Thanks for the great video.
Suggestion for the box of tape measures. Throw a fab rats sticker on them and sign it. Then randomly put one in a merch order.
Now, that was some good fabing! Thanks for sharing!
I just don’t get people hatin’ on these guys. Nice vid guys.
Hope Jace has enjoyed the State playoff experience.

Those darn laws of physics! They’re annoyingly relentless. Great job on the new carriage for the new welder!
Congrats to jace and the other boys!
He can sky, I'm 6' and have never even touched the rim.
You guys are Millered up! You’ll like that Trailblazer too!
Love to see “The Rats” fabbing!
I’m sure I’m not the only one that would love to see a video of Paul talking mostly welding; brand preference, what process he uses the most and prefers, tips and tricks, etc!
Congrats too your boy and his team!! Hard work pays off! Nice driving lando!!! Nice cart.
Nice Cart ,good Job Guys and great Video
Love that stocked gun rack.
Folks that drive into these situations must think they can go anywhere .
Nice fab on that welding cart.
Thanks for taking us along 👍💯
LOVE the gun rack in the back window.
The way things should be again....like back when I was in high school.
@FabRats Pro Tip for EASILY washing off that mud! When the truck is clean and completely DRY...spray it down and I mean saturate it ALL over and under with WD40!!! LET IT DRY completely. Then go on your trips and when you get back from your muddy trip, all the mud and dirt will just rinse away with high pressure water! You will LOVE IT! We learned this YEARS ago from dirt bike riding and having to get all that nasty mud off of everything. SO EASY to clean up after!!! We invest in gallons of WD40 now...
BTW, it is not inappropriate to use a Hobart to make a cart for the Miller because Miller bought Hobart like 20 years ago.
Hobart is now their economy line.
Wood truck for the win ! If they quit going down that road we won't get to see you pull them out . Besides its
fun laughing at them for believing the commercials about Suv's and actualy off-roading them !
I see how you are they are stuck in the ruts you made. Job security. Smart man.
In this episode Pauls makes a tool for his tool. With another tool. Toolception. 😁😁😁
Thank you for doing what you do
Nice to see the Easy-Rider-Riffle-Rack being used properly.
Good Luck!
Love the gun rack especially with it being used for its intended purpose! Back in the day every pickup had to have one. Have fun at Glamus.
Fun fact: Miller industry's which builds your welders is also the biggest towtruck manufacturer in the world as well.
Congratulations Jase and team, great job with all your hard work!
No worries. Same company owns Hobart and Miller. I love my Hobart 140 but I imagine your needs are for a heavier duty unit.
I love my Hobart 190. It does everything I want it to do. I built a vehicle from scratch. Frame, axles, suspension and all. My little Hobart still works as good as they day I bought it. I can weld 1/2" steel, I am retired, so I don't plan on welding any 1" stuff.
Wow! Congrats to Jace and his teammates, the coaches and everyone involved! Thats awesome!
A regular Larry Bird in the making! Never stop playing hard Jace!
Love seeing the rifle in the back window rack. Reminded me of deer hunting Salina Utah in the 70's -80's. Try carrying a rife in the back window rack in California, and you go to jail. Be glad you live in Utah.
Another win for the log truck!
Fab Rats welding carts... In your spare time😊😊😊
Played Davy Crockett in elementary school. Carried real bolt action 410. Wearing grandmas mink stole for a cap.
Just cause there is a road with tracks doesn't mean a CAR needs to be going down them. Thaw is a great welder cart that you guys built!
You’ll love the 255 I just bought one for work, you can precisely dial everything in, weld larger diameter filler, TIG MIG Stick, and it runs my favorite aluminum gun the Spoolmatic pistol grip gun with adjustable wire speed and it runs a/c D/c simply a cake walk forgot about the cool feature with the Pulse
Paul she might be a queen , but she's your queen to do with how you see CLEAN .😊😊😊❤
So when I have all the tables full I raise my lift to table height and put a 1/2 sheet of plywood on the arms and make another mess. Works good for what you were doing on the welder cart.
young man can shoot some hoops , well done that man .
I bought a harbor freight cart for my welder. Has 3 drawers for extra wire tips etc. Holds full size bottle. I love it. Probably cost less than the material you used
But it wasn't as much fun to build, was it?
I was thinking the same thing, but it's still more cool they built their own lol
but not as cool and probably won't last as long. I'd take that homemade fabbed one over HF any day!
He gets paid to do this so unless harbor freight pays him to use it. In many other situations your statement what be completed right.
Those wheels probably cost as much as the cheapest HF one. They might be as much as the middle grade one on sale.
The city I worked for had a late 50s buzz box made by link con and still use it today its truly never say die welder great video keep up the good work God bless from GA stay safe
Thanks Guys
YOU ain't washing it anyway, you know Landon or Grayden will get that job!
Yo Paul everyone talking about washing the wrecker and "try this try that" Just Get Ole Robby Layton to Ceramic Coat Grampa Sherm Wrecker. After that the mud will slide right off
Shawn is a beast, chucking that bottle up on that rack like nothing.
Ohm your plug in for your welders periodically just to make sure as a retired Electric worker, things can happen and a few times shorts can be intermittent, just a thought.
Paul sounds like my boss, "let's grab that bottle right there" and points 👉 to Sean to get it....hahaha where the hell is let's???? 😅
You should put something over the tips of hose and cable rack. The pieces sticking out look mighty sharp.
We do it right, because...
We do it twice 🤣🤣🤣
thank you. That was a very good video . I have liked that wood truck from the first day I saw it in the bush with a very nice load of wood. She just trackterd that load right out . Keep on making great entertainment ,it i just fantastic, with a bunch of good people
It’s yours Paul, they don’t have to wash it sitting in mamas basement. I’m not even watching the wrecker games. Theirs no way I put my heart and soul into something just to let god knows who bounce it off the rocks
I always loved the scenery on your trip. People don't take a 2 wheel drive in a place where they don't belong
I get it sucks to wash the tow truck...but its just so much fun to watch it do its thing!!!
Just drive it thru the river a few times.
It's cute as seeing Paul welding on the floor in tiny bits of steel!!!
I love how I said all you have to do is move the wheels to the back of the welder cart and then Paul agreed with me. I will try to keep giving y'all good ideas ;).
😂I would have just ratchet strapped the welder to the top of the old welder n said good enough 😂👍✌️
Teach Grayden how to pressure wash with appropriate protective equipment. He probably owes Jase some money.😂😂
Loving the rifle in the rack. Reminds me of good times
If you can weld it together you can cut it apart.
look at the rifle in the gun rack i like that so cool
Used to be normal where I grew up even kids in highschool
Yes sir where i grew up also
Still normal in Southern Utah, Northern Arizona...
It looks like a browning to me .
I remember when we was able to ride around with a gun on a gun rack on the back window. Ow they have to be in a case. We are Native and now the game wardens are taking all our hunting rights away from our people 😢
Use pam on recker. It will work to make it much easier to wash mud off. I used it on my dirt bikes. Spray it on let it dry not much will stick to it. My dirt bikes got very muddy racing cross country. The mud had chance to dry because it was usually a all day event at speed. Try it you will be surprised.
I think it's so awesome that the woodtruck is finally back on videos
