Matt...You have a couple of very impressive sons. Not only should you be proud of them, but be proud of yourselves for bring the kind of parents that instill good values in your kids.
Two out of four are impressive. 50%. Better than 11%.
@@prussiaaero1802 which 2??
Don't forget the bookends. Rudy is doing very well, and Karter is growing up quickly.
@@roberthudson1959 Is Rudy his son?
@@cjg6064Yes. Rudy was a big part of MORR when the channel was launched, filling the same role as Tom Tom. He left the company amicably a couple of years ago.
“I’m pretty much the best at staying humble that I know’. THE MOST HUMBLE WORDS EVER SPOKEN.
This is a napoleon dynamite allusion.
It takes a humble man to know he's humble just ask me, I'll tell you.
As the saying goes: It's hard to be humble when you're perfect in every way.... 😂🤣😂
Dad-jokes 101
Nobody is more of a "dad" than this amazing man.
He is a dad to his family. He is a dad to his crew. He is a dad to almost everyone he meets. And he is a dad to many a thousand followers of his channel all around the world.
@@johnmcclure5679 I was waiting for that one to be quoted. I was not left to be disappointed.
“ I’m pretty much the best at staying humble!” The best and most ironic statement ever uttered! We love you Matt!
It’s really nice that Rhett always comments on how beautiful the scenery on these recoveries is and appreciates his surroundings instead of being buried into a phone screen like many his age. Your kids appear to be well raised.👍👍. UT is one of my favorite places to visit and a beautiful area of the country.
Yeah, if you like red dirt it’s the place
Rhett is a chill guy and takes it all in. 👍👍💯💯
why would this kid who knows the work... and is constantly working out there, be on his phone... hes driving assisting or working a camera or hiking along side a moving truck working a camera. he literally has no time to be "buried into a phone screen" relax
I love Utah it's gorgeous the buttes and the wide open spaces
I'm sure he''s a great kid, but obviously any shots of him being bored and scrolling instagram aren't going to make the final cut.
Staying humble...is never asking your employees to do something you are unwilling to do yourself. Matt's a role model.
Matt asks people to do stuff he doesn't want to do all the time... doesn't matter if he COULD do it. Is it common for him to be towed out in the wrecked vehicle not driving the wrecker? No. So there's number 1 which is all I need to prove your comment kinda not true. ID RATHER not start a list but just think yourself of all the stuff Tom Tom does probably cause Matt's work is plain shite.
That doesn't make him a bad role model.. the things he does with the youth group and his community is what you should be talking about when calling him a role model... not who does what on jobs.
I loved this one because Matt was the camera person at the end. More of this pls.
@@stevencatoneMatt’s work isn’t “shite” lmao he’s a good mechanic and knows what he’s doing when recovering. If you don’t like him don’t watch the channel it’s really simple lmao. There’s a difference between having people do things you don’t want to do and having people do thing you wouldn’t do. Matt doesn’t have people do things he wouldn’t do. He’s a very safe guy and makes sure everyone is safe and gets home
@@ryntoraz3861 by shite I meant less than the tolerances that a true engineer like Tom Tom is capable of. You have kinda misconstrued what I was saying.
My son and I were fortunate enough to be in the area last friday and we were able to stop by the shop! Angela gave us the tour which was super cool. So glad we got to see so much, like the wrecker, the Bombi, the Golden nugget, Deja Blue and Dig Doug (that's right Tom Dig Doug absolutely made the list)! The best part though was how friendly Angela and everyone else ( Jonah and Jake) were. Angela made us feel like family! Thank you so much!
Oh and another great video today!
The “Matt Cam” part of this video had to be my favorite! Holding the tire had me cracking up! 😂😂

Why the hell would anyone talk bad about you or your crew? Their clearly jealous, I love ALL you guys! Don't let someone bash your feelings about y'all's self. Have a good one y'all
Its THEY'RE, saying 'their jealous' is like saying they own jealousy.

That was an incredibly classy way to completely dismiss the haters
"I'm pretty much the best at staying humble that I know of" lol How humble of you, Matt! That's hilarious and I'm stealing that line.
I would like to thank you all at Matt’s Office Road Recovery for showing us how to successfully rescue people. Today i used what i learned for the first time winching a SUV up a steep rocky hill after they got stuck and had the rear drivers side bumper up against the wall. Used my winch and soft shackle on the passenger side lower control arm and made sure i told them in Matt’s words “give it alittle gas’s dont spin the wheels” of course they did anyways. Keep up the great work thanks for all the recovery education.
It's good to see all 3 doggies out running around! They so obviously *love* to run to their hearts content. Great video, Matt!
Not only is the Heavy Wrecker an awesome vehicle in its own right, but it is a working vehicle. Earns its keep every time it goes out.
Great job and great crew. Your kids and the ones you train like adopted kids are really special and inspiring. You are one great teacher
Matt you are fortunate that your sons are old enough to work along side with you. I never had that pleasure with my Dad. He was always out helping other people. He worked as a Firefighter then became an Assistant Chief of our Cities Fire Department.
Matt, you are a great owner to those beautiful puppies, letting them run around, get great exercise, and letting them explore. They must be living it UP over there.
Stay safe on future recoveries, ya'll!
Great job guys! As A Colorado dirt biker who rides in Utah, we are thankful for your guys doing what you do when a dirt bike (or jeep) gets stuck or breaks down out in the amazing beauty of your state.
Great to see Kaulin and Rhett doing the driving and the dogs getting lots of exercise.
13:41 It sounds like he says " We've been watching you for years, you're part of the reason we moved out here!"
Wish I could do that. MORR has got to be a huge boost to Southern Utah tourism and real estate!
"I have been watching you for years, before we even moved out here":That's not saying that they weren't influenced to make the move but that's what was said.
i kinda hear "before we moved out here" 13:40
I just said to my husband I could live there .
Moved there for the scenery not because MORR is there lol
@@Berm_Blaster That's what I meant. MORR really showcases the area in their videos.
Seeing Matt POV from the trailer makes me think that a 360 camera would be a great addition to your already great set up! Put it on top of your trucks and see what it would be like!
Nooooo,😢 those are the worst visually , almost makes ya dizzy, they haven’t perfected them,,,I didn’t enjoy the fisheye and the 360 thingys have the same rounding effect .,, just my opinion, give it 5 years they might be decent, it just looks unnatural

G’Day from Australia. Love your channel, amazing team, beautiful country, cool trucks, and V8’s, what’s not to love. Make’s me want to fly to the US, hire a jeep, get it stuck just so I can call Matt’s Off-road Recovery.
Staying humble is important. Im pretty much the best at staying humble I know. Hysterical, Matt your humor is great and I really appreciate the channel just found you today and have been on it all day. Your family is wholesome and your values are admirable. Well done, America needs so much more of this everywhere.
SUGGESTION: about stopping rigs without brakes crashing/damaging themselves into the wrecker. It works with ships or the construction industry; it should at least help a bit here, too. Make a flat, wider plate with adjustable side clamps(bolt on or if you can think of easier fixing) to grip onto the sides of the boom, ground-facing(so you can quickly reposition and fix it higher or lower on the boom). Second step, borrow either from construction industry or shipping ports some cevlar/rubber reinforced inflatable bags- rigid enough not to blow or get punctured but soft enough to cushion the front bumper of the. Fix that bag to the plate. You have air on board; you can inflate/expand it more or less to suit the application (it also can be raised or lowered with side clamps). And if it's in a way, it can be deflated flat(or unclamped as a whole from the boom). The concept can be tried out without investing work into a plate, just tying anything inflatable made from more industrial strength reinforced rubber(like some tractor tyre inner lining)... ...take some wreck from the yard and test just to see the forces involved, the damage(to the car and inflatable pillow) and the strength of components needed. If the makeshift contraption is not a complete failure, its worth persuing making it from right and strong materials.
A a rubber bouy or the side rail balloons of a boat would work well
i was also thinking like s spider web of kinetic ropes along the boom area like you are saying to give some protection
@@perryleduc1954 the only thing i am concerned with, that it would be easily deflatable/inflatable to compact it when needed. As sometimes it can be more beneficial to have just empty space there between the boom and a towed rig to reduce unneeded rubbing on long flat drives.

Matt I like how you give everyone chances to drive. Still surprised that you have not built a truck sling for pulling units out to avoid them hitting the wrecker

The terrain is too aggressive
@@Aeroswine1776 I worked for a tow company that had a off road wrecker and I was on recoveries with the operator and we where in narly stuff and it worked just fine never had to have people ride in the towed vehicle to ride brakes to avoid it hitting the towed unit

@stufreeland5709 No, no, I think you mean "It's easy to be humble when you're perfect in every way. Hahahahaha!
Lets not forget that most tow companies wont touch dirt. This was a full blown wheeling trail to navigate. Good job on the funnel
Hey Matt, a wise man once said, if you do not have people hating you talking bad about you, then you are not doing better than most. Take your haters and use them as energy.
You Did All That Hustling & Still Ain't Get Shot😂😂😂
“Oh mi corazón” 😂😂 good one. Great video fellas
I am running late for work, but I have to comment... This is my favorite video so far. I have seen old ones as far back as when Matt is still nervous in front of the camera, and Ed is hustling to help. Anyway, this is my fave for all the good driving Rett did, the great narration by both cameramen.
That Jeep is a lot like mine, and it wasn't hard to imagine being hooked up and going thru the funnel and all like that.
Matt, I would've climbed on the motorcycle, too! Great job of videoing! That shows your trust in your sons driving skills. Good job, Colin!
Good driving on both Young Mens part. Thank You all for the videos!
just another note to make me late. Some of us watch MORR videos, talk about them, and sometimes compare notes during the day. Shhhh, don't tell anyone, we drive on the trails here on base! (KSC)
You're very confident about your humbleness 😂
There will always be hatred due to jealousy and inability to do a good job and have good work ethics.
I experienced this in life and always ignored the negative aspects. You and yours are very fortunate to enjoy life and pass the torch on. May you always have family and friends.
It's always a good day, when Max gets to go out. Lady and Peanur too, but Max gets stuck at home a lot. But, I know it's best for him because he tends to run in the wrong direction.
I always love how Rhett appreciates the beauty of where he's at.
I don't know if this would at all be a practical upgrade for the wreaker, but a backup camera and a nice screen so you can see what is hanging from the boom.
the need front and back at a minimum and to START CARRYING EXTRA FUEL
Lol you know Matt doesn’t like building things technologically advanced to make things easy as possible 😂😂😂
@@judadon707 Well, I was going to argue about the 4 wheel steering, which is a huge deal in that truck, but it's manual too. It's not automated like a Mercedes, or Cybertruck. So, you win. 🙂

For all those people who say you should "blah blah blah" to keep the towed vehicle from hitting the boom, maybe they could show up at the off road games and mock up their solution to test it out as one of the games.
You guys are fun to watch very skilled at what you do and seem to get along pretty well. Keep on what your doing.
So happy to see Max coming along again 🥰🥰
Boy, Rett is a real natural in front of and behind the camera.
Matt you filming yoirself "getting the shot" yet just filming yourself was top tier comedy
as an old tow driver back in the days before wheel lift trucks we had a boom that we would drop and put the J hooks on and we were gone, I understand why Matt could not use that in the places he goes, but what about an extended bumper on the rear with a rubber pad just to keep the towed vehicle from getting damaged from hitting the wrecker? sometimes going down a grade it gets close if it was low enough to hit the tires it could help out some day
I think Matt was bummed that he couldn't do a trail repair 😂
‘The most humble you know of’ exactly. Humility at its finest.
Good job Rett, you really STEERED around those bovines. ;)
He was udderly cowcentrated !
The steaks were high…..
Matt, I enjoy your channel very much so. I like your rescues videos and of course those of the crew as they are able to do what is needed when you are not there. Just something to think about for your wrecker to make it a little more usable, as a tow truck operators wheel lifts are great, and I know you said you would prefer not to use, or it is not a good thing because of the condition of the terrane most if not all of your jobs are in. Instead of a wheel lift or a sling, you should design a bar that is just long enough to reach the distance of your boom since it carries the vehicles, but an articulating bar that you can hang of the front axles of any vehicle that attaches to the back of the wrecker, that keeps said vehicles from swinging into the back of the wrecker. One that you can hang on the pinto which will give the ability to move in all direction. This will not just stop the vehicle from smashing into the back of the wrecker, but it will also stop the vehicle from swinging side to side, it would be safer. You will just have to work out the amount of articulation that is acceptable for the rock crawling tow that you do from time to time, but I believe it will make things a little safe. You could also take two pipes one bigger than the other so they can slide in and out of one another and weld in a stiff spring to allow some give in the movement of the bar. It was just something I thought about while watching some of your videos using the wrecker, just something to think about.
Take care and keep the good work. Matt's Off Road Recovery crew is a great crew doing a great job for the community of off-roader within your reach. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us the universe of couch potatoes.

Good video, Matt.
These videos are great. Very educational since I am not a tow operator but do pull some vehicles out of jams w/my 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X 4xe. Also the team work and comradery of the crew is exceptional plus the dogs supervising the operations.

Whether driving, helping on a rescue, working in the shop, or narrating while swinging the camera, Rhett is becoming 'The Man'. His camera work and narration on this video were great!
Do you know what I think is so cool? Matt: Just the way that you empower, educate and teach your kids and the other younger people on your show “how to” do things. My father never did that for me, and I think it was a great disservice.
