Idk what your talking about. The pools at SeaWorld are still terrible for Orca's. Whales and dolphins do NOT belong in tanks. There is no talking about it. It's wrong. Eventually seaworld will shut down and everyone will think the same.
Captivity itself doesn’t have to be bad for animals if it’s done in a responsibly managed way. The main issue I have with what’s happening in China is that the aquarium sector (and animal welfare sector) is decades behind other nations who took wild animals in the 60s, 70s and 80s and put them on display. As an industry, standards globally should be better now. The other issue is that the growth of this sector in China is completely unsustainable. The problem is the demand for marine mammals is too high; therefore aquariums will collect wild animals to meet this demand. No marine mammal facility in Europe or North America today advocates for the capture of wild marine mammals, as is currently being done in China. However, allowing captive breeding is important because it helps fulfil these animals’ social needs. Successful reproduction is also partly an indicator of good welfare. If China were willing to stop collecting animals from the wild, and focus on establishing healthy, sustainable breeding populations of captive bred animals, then the impact on wild populations and the welfare impact on those animals would be reduced significantly. As it stands, it seems very much about making a lot of money, rather than prioritising animal welfare in this case.
China has proven itself time and time again to be absolutely brutal and cruel with wild animals. This is yet another example. More - shark fin soup - sending multiple species of shark extinct. The dog meat festival in China - absolutely disgusting. Chinese medicine and it's demand for pangolin scales, rhino and elephant ivory driving already endangered animals to extinction. If any country will bring about mass extinction it's China out of pure greed.
They don't belong in tanks ANYWHERE. It's inhumane. The breeding programs you speak of in which have males were being masturbated by trainers for their sperm, and females being forcibly impregnated is just wrong in on so many levels. Then if the baby survived they would ship it to another park as to stock their inventory. These parks need to all just disappear. It took 4 deaths for Seaworld to get the trainers out of the water with them and Seaworld appealed that decision. All they care about is money. Not the Marine animals .... not the trainers .... not the viewer's.... they have been lying to the public forever. Thank God this is the last generation they will have as the breeding program was terminated.
Please don't by Tickets...freedom for wildlife animals. No money for Parc's... Look the movie blackfish...orcas are constant hungry for tricks, but how many fish get an orca that he is not hungry...please stoped this, in the name of God or Buddha orAllah or in the name of orca...

Its sad that after years of torture from the west these species will ho through this again in Asia.
All my support for your cause, animals should live in a natural habitat and not be used as if they were circus clowns.
Thank you Zheng Yu !
