Anger is such a hard feeling for me to process. That, grief, and sadness. My parents did their best but I was not taught to manage feelings. I’m so glad that we are moving in the direction of not labeling emotions as bad anymore. They’re supposed to be there to help us live authentically! Thank you for all that you do. 💜🙌🏼
Thank you so much. I am just going to go download your ebook. My 3.5 year old has been having some very big reactions. Crying loudly, hitting and refusing to talk.
This is soo helpful! Thank you. Your post popped up on my phone just as I was asking my 6 year old the reasons why she feels so angry...it was insightful 😮😅
Love your videos, thank you for sharing your overstanding, you are a powerful positive influence and I really appreciate that deeply. I find it hard to feel anger these days, with my second baby 3 months old and my “prince” 2.8 years I have many challenges but feel kinda unnaturally calm, like I’m not really respecting my boundaries and needs coz it just seems impossible right now. If you have any videos about that I would love some advice, I’ll try searching your channel. Another great thing about what you’re doing is that it provides a platform for people to express their daily struggles, and even admitting these things to oneself can be really helpful ❤❤❤
I’m so happy to have wandered over to your site ! Very helpful as a therapist myself ! I work with birth to 3 mainly and asd kiddos .. at what age do they begin wgst it means and apply these ways of understanding how to regulate rhere emotions ? Ty for your advice and easy to understand your technique with kiddos !I find that in today’s society kids are not in touch with their emotions ! I’ll continue to tune in 🎉
Do you have an reference material for children that have negative self talk from an early age? For example my son is 4 and I took him to school this morning and was speaking positive telling him how smart he is etc and he kept saying no I’m not smart and thought it was funny
Don’t forget to check out my free anger eBook - "Your 3-Step Plan When Your Child Gets Angry or Aggressive” www.themompsychologist.com/ebook

Can this be applied to an angry teenager ? 😂
Not me learning about emotions at the same time I’m teaching my toddler 🫡 Thanks for all you do!
This comment totally relates to me😅 We learning at the same time ❤
Was thinking exactly the same! It just makes me realise how important it is to learn this from a young age ❤
