- What happens when we make an idol out of the attributes of God, and not worship God Himself? It makes me wonder...#ThirdAdam #Rise #LaurenDaigle #HoldOnToMe

"We are making idols out of the attributes of God, but not worshipping the God of the attributes." Wow, such a mouthful this is so true.
I love her voice, but hate she’s gained the spotlight she has and refuses to make it clear who she’s singing for and about!
Once she began to be recognized, she didn’t want to be known as a Christian artist.
To be honest, I felt Jesus in the song. The lyrics are beautiful...and it's really obvious that she's referring to God. Lauren Daigle's songs personally bring me closer to Jesus and give me hope.😊 So, I really don't understand why everyone keeps pointing out the flaws instead of listening with open ears and actually understanding its message.
The problem I have with most of today's Christian music you can't tell who they thinking about.
Compare this song of Lauren Daigle’s to the song “Thank You Jesus For the Blood” with Charity Gayle. No comparison!
Just shows how watered down Jesus is in today’s world. NARROW IS THE WAY, people don’t get how narrow it is though
Whoever thought Lauren Diagle is or was a Christian needs a little more light as to what a true Christian really is.
She might not be singing about Jesus in her songs but I make sure I ‘m singing to The Lord
I'm with your conspiracy friends. There is a nod towards sun worship in her videos. Sun and sun imagery figure prominently. THen there are black and white floors and even a crescent moon necklace in one. No not hard core but someone with input in designing her vids is definitely doing a nod.
She likes to sit on the fence. She's not going to be "holier than thou" because it'll tarnish her friendship with the world, and in so doing is denying Jesus.
"We are making idols of the attributes of God, but not worshipping the God of those attributes."
Many of the “ Christian pop songs” of today is not about God or esp JESUS. We were discussing this a few mins ago. The sin seeker Church model is a washout of the Gospel.
I remember hearing a story years ago. A man is sitting on a fence in front of him is heaven behind him is hell. The devil approaches the man. The man says to the devil “I didn’t pick a side.” The devil responds “doesn’t matter I own the fence.” There is no middle ground you have to pick a side.
I understand where u coming from. I think u trying to say is, she doesn't have a strong back bone. My dad always say, if u dont stand for something, u will fall for anything.
Lauren Daigle does not strike me as Christian, she strikes me as somehow who believes in Christ the Avatar, into mediation, yoga, crystals, chakras and eastern mysticism. For one, aside from the obvious ambuigity of her song's meanings ,how she dresses - that ' breezy boho, slightly hippie, arm's length of bracelets' style - is a dead giveaway of her projecting a self image of more 'white witch' than woman of God! Just my opinion..
Lauren is no different than the other "christian artists" that chose the safe genre because they could not break through the pop genre. I didn't even know that Amy Grant sung contemporary christian music until I heard of the controversy that followed her career years later...but it happens a lot.
That's exactly what I have been saying. They could have a non-Christian sing it to a boyfriend. People are so deceived. I listen to none of it.
The tragedy of these artists is that they crave the pleasure and applause of the world rather than hearing “well done thou good and faithful servant “ such a beautiful talented vocalist and would be so much more if she used her voice to truly sing the praises of The Master ...
If she ever was a Christian singer she made a very quick transition out of that
