I've been using that same set on my Jeep for a few years. The Trek 7300 that i have only has one insert from the factory so i think I'll add another. Your video just gave me the green light, thanks for sharing.
I’m no engineer, so it’s just an opinion, but yes, I believe it would for certain racks. In any case, I would carry only my lighter things on the forks. Thanks for watching.

Thank you for taking the time to share your setup. I'm curious what rear rack brand you use. Apologize if I missed it in a previous response. Thanks
Believe it or not, it’s just a cheap Schwinn rack I found. I wanted something simple and it just works. Thank you for watching!
I was hoping you would demonstrate installing a rivnut on the fork.
Oh sorry! It is very similar to a rivet - not difficult at all. Thanks for watching!
Awesome. Thanks so much for doing this.
This was a great video. Unfortunately, I think this method will not work with my inverted suspension forks.
You would be correct! But inverted suspension forks are really cool! Thanks for watching.
Thank for the good videos
Glad you like them!

Many many thanks!

Good advice! Thanks so much!
What rivet tool do you use?
It’s an Amjoy 16” Rivet Nut Tool. Thank you for watching!

do you think these rivet knuts would be able to support a front rack?
