- In this episode, we will show you some amazing new images and updates from India’s historic moon mission, Chandrayaan-3. Chandrayaan-3 is the first mission to land in the lunar south pole region, making India the fourth country to successfully land on the moon. We will explain how Chandrayaan-3 works and what it has achieved and found so far, using its scientific instruments and methods. We will also explain why these findings are important and what they can reveal about the moon and its history.

@@Aparajith_ the first reason is actually true ISRO engineers aren't get paid enough for there job
@rlnIndia007 Absolutely not, people & Labour cost not included in cost. Know it before spreading rumour. Low cost not due to cheap labour.
Indian scientists and armed forces work for humanity and for the country not for the money. That make them difference from rest of the World.

They used a technique called sling shot. It takes much longer to reach the moon (or Mars or sun or wherever), but it does not need sophisticated rockets. There were other cheaper techniques also utilized to bring the cost down. But all this actually makes the job much tougher.
Iam very proud iam a indian original from Mauritius 🇲🇺 I live in South Africa well done bharat
Fantastic job India, I have enjoyed ever part of this venture.🇦🇺
How? Watching a CGI,blast off and instruments showing you numbers? It's a con. Neil Armstrong was caught saying they were 9 hours from the surface when in fact they are all on camera in low earth orbit. How do you explain that? They made a fake earth template on the window ( to appear as if far away) and it's all on camera with audio. Why? At 1000 miles from Earth electron like bombardment starts which effects humans and instrumentation. The Mercury,Appollo program show us this in the 1960s. It's all there to see. Huge CIA psy-op that is obviously still working today. It's either a closed system or we need portals to travel ( which is dangerous as you can end up anywhere) Without ETs help we are stuck here for now.
I'm an Indian and I am very happy to see NasaSpaceNews covering and presenting the information about ISRO's Chandrayaan 3 mission. What I emphasize is the sense of brotherhood to be felt all countries exploring or aspiring to explore celestial bodies given that in space we all are foreigners comparable to the warmth and brotherhood felt by people from two neighbouring countries (let's say Indians and Pakistanis in US or in Europe). Collaboration is of utmost importance and one shouldn't boost of their achievements to the extent that others feel humiliated while at the same time the rest of the nations shouldn't be jealous of one's achievement in space. NASA over decades has met remarkable achievements and it certainly has benefitted humanity immensely. I hope collaboration between NASA and ISRO will help future interplanetary missions succeed and habitation on Mars will be a reality rather than a possibility in future.

Yesterday Pragyan Rover completed all its assignments and charged its battery fully and went to sleep for the 14 day Lunar night.
On 22nd September the sun will rise again and the temperature will rise from -120°C to +60°C.
Scientists are hoping it can survive the cold and wake up again, but the chances are very less because it wasn't designed for that cold.
India has done brilliant work… Great achievement at a lower cost…👍
Long time before this great achievement, india's physicists like CV Raman, SN Bose, S chandrasekar and also a great mathematician S Ramanujan had brought honour to this country. I admire them
India is doing such great things! Thank you for a really good video. You know, I have never seen a clip of the rover when it crosses that little crater right in front of the lander and I really want to. That is quite a dip there!
U can see in the clip released later that Pragyaan rover is past the crater and it's wheel marks can be seen emerging out of the brim of the same! Now in both videos we can see the shadows casted by the rover are different in lengths which suggests that the difference between the timings of both clips is probably hours in length which further means that the rover probably struggled in that pothole! That's why ISRO skipped the part where it is just going to descend there.
@@mg9854 I thought the same...was so glad when l saw the next video 😀
Lol! And I thought I was the only one who wanted to see that! How it balanced its centre of gravity, why did the left side not tip up (it didn't coz we can see the wheel marks unbroken), how that weird and brilliant three wheel arrangement and suspension navigated it...if the whole of rover went in and out, it's not that difficult...but one side in crater one above...is interesting

Actually the south pole part of moon is most difficult to land because of the rocky uneven surface. Unlike easy to land spots on moon, landing on south pole makes India the first nation to land in that area. ☝️😎
The equatorial region of moon is not like a skate park smooth. It has more to do with the shadowing in the south pole and the onboard tracking cameras which help the autolanding mechanism to run into failure if it fails to obtain images with enough light.

India's space agency definitely deserves applause for landing its Chandrayaan-3 robotic probe on the southern latitudes of the Moon. India's greatest achievement of all: this probe made it to the lunar surface at a cost of only (I've been told) $75 million. My question would be this: How much longer will Chandrayaan-3 still be active before it looses power? I understand this mission is solar-powered and that it will shut down permanently upon lunar nightfall. And what more will this probe do there?
They go into an induced sleep mode and try to recover after 14 days. But they don't have much hope.
It is meant to last only one lunar day i.e. 14 earth days. When lunar night falls it's job would be done. It heps that this mission was made such cost effectively so that we can afford to send many more missions in the future for specific tasks.
It is put into sleep mode already yesterday I guess. Once the lunar night completes and there is some light of lunar day, it will work again if the components are not destroyed by the extreme low temperatures. But, it was designed only for one lunar day. I hope it will survive the extreme weather and comes back to life during next lunar day.
