i loved ur setup. definitely one of my favorites just cuz of the creativity and effort. if u ever make improvements, pls come back to setup wars it would be really nice
Its just so much cooler when you build anything yourself. Nothing replaces that feeling of accomplishment. Looking at it, using it, and thinking "I built this!!!"
That quote at the beginning hit me hard! I just had a chat with my friend 2min ago, telling him I am struggling to think what I must do to chase my dream, content creation, but now I know. I have to challenge myself and push harder! ❤ One day, hopefully, my dream will be true🤞🏼🙌🏼
Always a HUGE fan of people that are trying to create something new and exciting, preferably with their own resources. Reminds of how i used my old book cabinet shelves and repurposed them into a shoe holder instead as there was no specific shoe holder that would fit into a specific space in our tiny house. It is sturdy, looks ok and most importantly fits shoes in that normally wouldn't fit anywhere... cuz my dad has huge feet lmao ANYWAY loved this video a lot, as somebody that found your channel VERY recently, i love your content a lot. So much fun ♥
Really appreciate the acoustic panels you’ve prepared! While people usually ignore the room acoustics and only focus on the aesthetic of the pc setups, some appropriate acoustic treatments definitely improve the audio quality and game experience!
Thank you for always giving me inspiration to improve my gaming setup and being the main reason i switched to pc I was born with duchenne muscular dystrophy a disease that makes my muscles continue to deteriorate and get weaker over time i lost the ability to walk when i was 8 im 23 now this disease also affects my lung and heart functions i can move my arms but cant lift them anymore but i have just enough strength to play on keyboard and mouse since im limited on things to do in life my inspiration is gaming i hope to someday be able to make money from streaming games when i cant do something because of my very little strength i find another way to do it i have to adapt and overcome to make things possible for myself. Thank you for all the hard work and effort that you go through to keep us entertained im looking forward to seeing this new setup i hope to someday have myself a complete setup like this that i can be proud of but i have a long way and a lot of money to save up in this expensive world lol
That frame is very impressive! I would check the bolts after a couple weeks use to make sure they are still snug once all of your gear has been installed.
Honestly I love this guys videos so much they are so creative and interesting to watch. Good to see you are building your dream setup. I would build my own but I have no money 😅
Just build a house sized gaming PC with industrial sized cooling fans and 4 inch piped water cooling system and live inside of the SSD storage compartment.
@@mr_gamesAWPT I used to watch his setup videos when I was 7 years old, I’m 25 now and he’s still going. Viewers from his first setup video have grandkids now
Love your genuineness in the process! Thanks for showing us not everything goes accordingly or as expected. Appreciate your resilience!! Hard work and dedication are things you have taught me!!
Very awesome. Hopefully this fall/winter I will be doing the same get some folks to haul my crappy desk out and get in a nice custom proper modern desk/setup. :)
I did a similar thing to what youre doing, just with a sit/stand desk frame instead! Im so excited with how its turning out, it should be done in a couple days!
I love LG OLEDs. I had to go with a G9 OLED from Samsung for my most recent monitor, though. I'm a huge fan of the 32:9 super ultrawide. Plus, I much rather prefer the 1800R curve over the more aggressive 1000R and 800R you see on a lot of LGs.
I’m thinking of doing a floating desk with a kind of reversed support also , however more angles and things on the sides going up due to the use of woods .
Would look even better/ be lighter to have a hollow table top you could slide onto your new floating mount. You’d lose the bracket look underneath for a true floating look
At 8:54 timestamp Ohhh my boy for real-time checking setup lookalike use thermocol sheet and put them glue as like floating you will get idea how it will look like and also check height too. I applied this method it works well before putting large frame
Hey! Your setup looks amazing so far! I definately love the new floating desk frame it makes everything look 100% better, quick question, do you know what paint color you used for the wall? I’m painting my walls soon and I love the color you used for your walls!
⚠⚠Warning! The welds on that frame are not going to hold over time!! That thing is going to break and you have small kids in danger! You need a design with additional triangle support at the 90 degree angle for safety! 💀⚠⚠
@@TechSource I doubt it. Remember that the wood desk adds a lot length and leverage away from the wall beyond the frame. For your application I would seriously consider utilizing forged steel forklift forks to build the frame around. Plenty available sizes and options on the market and they are very very strong. 🦾🦾😎😎 Love your content for years 😎! Keep up the great work!
@@TechSource Sorry, forget the forklift forks idea, they are not really designed for that. But definitely weld two triangles the 90 degree angle for added strength and safety. Best wishes for you and the family Ed! Take care.
when he was talking about how to route the power cable i thought the solution was just going to be to make it go up since it clear the 2 vertical beams at the sides are deeper than the top horizontal support so you can just pass cables throw there
I am beyond honored that my floating setup design helped inspire your new setup Ed! Wish you best of luck on the rest of it!

For those with setups like that with board meeting, recommend line of silicone so if you spill something it is less likely to seep under
Nice. With that horizontal slit I see an upgrade with added motors and the possibility to move the entire desk sideways with the press of a button 😁
You have no idea how long eagerly I’ve waited for the continuation
Really appreciate the acoustic panels you’ve prepared! While people usually ignore the room acoustics and only focus on the aesthetic of the pc setups, some appropriate acoustic treatments definitely improve the audio quality and game experience!
I bought the JSK lines because of you recommending it in every video that features lines. Amazing recommendation, they're dope af.

i love how she is playing with the door knob 8:06
Perfect. I have some ideas. One is make a pump like heart shape (Custom Pump) With the red liquid for cooling.
So awesome Ed cant wait for part 2! 🙌🔥

thanks Ed for inspiring me to create a frame like yours

It’s so good to see videos like these bc I’m also going through a setup makeover and I get inspired so much my watching videos like this.
Honestly the hole design also future proofed you to be able to add a sit stand setup using that table
Not even finished and looks Fiyah
I am happy for you Ed. Looks good...cant wait to see how you top this with V3.
Watching your video makes me want to overhaul my entire setup.
can't wait to see it done, good luck buddy and cute helpers 🥰
This had to be a Netflix series bc I would definitely watch it good job Ed. 🎉❤😊😊
I'd love the frame designs you provided the welding shop!
You have no idea but this setup has been my dream setup. Now I guess it’s time to change my dream too
This isn’t just any setup… this is THE setup.
What unlimited money feels like… You work a lot to get here. Well done 🎉
That coffee spill problem, you could add a bit of caulk at the seem to keep fluids and debris from getting back there
Ed, you should probably go for a patent on your desk mount system. Maybe consider manufacturing it too.
cant believe how much u grown been hear since one mil hope u get to 100 mil
Thank you Ed! I got alot of inspiration for buliding my own setup from setup wars and this video. Can't wait to make my own setup! Wish me luck! 🤞
Dude that's gonna be sick! And yeah I saw the curve of the monitor when you unboxed it and I was like ehhhhhhh 😅
Another way instead of having to hold it while making holes is making a painters tape template and the it just sticks to the wall.
here early, been watching you for YEARS now and man content just sems to get better, keep up the good work ed
Bro, I love your PC bill and I love your videos. You’re awesome UA-camr. Teach me a lot about PC.
Bro's risk tales are unmatchable. Above six foot, from the ground, alone, with a 10000+ PC is absolute moment of Chad.
*chef's kiss. Now thats floatin~ u just inspired me to make the changes that I wanted to make, but was hesitating on for my own setup ! :D
I can say. Ed is probably one of the kindest guy in the world
I love all your vids Ed, but that All that Remains pun was straight from the gods 🤣
Maybe you can use silicone which is less sticky and not permanent in the cracks to stop your coffee spills to go in between spaces
That speaker is perfect for my setup
