Skated these constantly for about 2 years back in the day when first released it was a time I was skating the best I ever had in my 20+ years so they have soft part in my heart I always had the black and white not only stylish but amazing to skate in
I just got a pair, slayer edition. I will say to get half a size up like vans, I get 11s in vans when I’m typically 10.5. Ordered the 10.5 thinking they’d fit true to size but it’s real tight on the width of my foot
Never skated DC pure before. Right now I have Globe Fusion and I like them a lot. Tons of padding, and the tongue is connected to the rest of the shoe so you're really just slipping your foot in. No tongue shifting to the side uncomfortably.
I used to skate the court graffik when I started skating. Loved it because they lasted damn near 6 months a piece. But since then I’ve been skating Nike adidas and vans a lot of vans lol. Love em all though!
i have a pair of the dc pure all black and its a good shoe it just takes a long time to brake in but once you brake them in the soles are nice and thick and last a very long time i had a pair last me a whole year as a kid when i was skating everyday allday . i recently bought another pair and i just put better softer insoles in the shoe and after a few days shoe skates perfect also great impact support
I've had several pairs of dc pure's in the past few years. super durable, good shape and look cool. I got my first pair of e's accel og's a few months ago, also quite durable, also liiks good, great shape, but I will say when I switched to the vans docketts (idk if I spelled that right please internet lord forgive me) And that made me realize the dockets had the best grip, don't last quite as long and do not look as good in my opinion, but generally cheaper, (at the vans store they're 50 bucks and buy one get one 50% off all the time) I guess the question that remains to be answered is what you like most in a skate shoe. How do you want to spend your money? personally, being a tall goofy bastard who's feet look too damn big for my board, and someone who hates thin shoes, I'm considering slimming it up a bit so my footage doesn't look as funny. Do what ya'll want.
I bought two pairs of the Joslin 2 and both tore after a week of heavy skating. Got the Pures and they honestly have a very similar look but they are wayyyyy more durable I love them
The DC wolf S are the most long lasting shoe I have ever owned. I've been skateboarding 17 years and skated them for a year and a half every couple of days! They are only 30-40$ I could not recommend them more!
Everyone can talk as much shit as they want about these shoes but they are good to skate for months at a time everyday theyre definitely worth more than the cash if youre strapped for money which is why im pretty sure alot of old dudes miss oldschool 90s skate shoes even tho these arent close to as bulky as back in the day the only complaint ive had is the impact resistance isnt as good but still pretty good
@@shane3736Sorry for the necro, but I feel like these shoes are still relevant so this info is too: The soles are glued to the bottom but are easily removed cleanly by pulling it out slowly. I ride mine with a set of Vans comfycush insoles.
Dc pure shoes were alright. Lasted me about a month and had to stop skating them when the kickflip hole went to the back tread behind the white rubber. Also, the shoes were pretty stuff and good for impact. However, the fit in the shoes kinda sucked and the stock insole is shit. Finally, I wish these shoes had tongue straps and straps on the tongue to take them on and off easily.
@@shane3736 I can’t remember if they were glued or not but I got mine out I think. The insoles are pretty thin anyway so putting another insole above it isn’t a big deal.
Globes also got some beefy shoes these days that hold up, I dunno if they have anything all white this quarter but if they ever do make an all white it’d be worth checking out!
I have a pair of the es Accel Slim's they are a decent shoe but my favorite shoes are emerica hsu and the emerica bluprint which I can no longer find also the Vans chukka lows are a good shoe that last.
Ive had a pair of the DC Pure but in brown/black. They lasted me 3 months of street and park skating, but I had to stop wearing them because they reeked sweat lol. They held up fucking great though!
I love those fucking accels . I’ve gone through so many pairs .... I just love em ‘ perfect amount of poofiness while I’m out there skating . It protects my feet
First let's take a look at the history of this boot
These moon boots were developed in the early 1960s
The day this man skates a janoski, the world must have ended and there isn't one cupsole shoe left for him to skate lol
kuadk227 I hope ninja replies to this comment
He'll never skate Janoskis. I mean come on bro, wo are we kidding. Size and thickness does matter.
Not my style but I wouldn't mind picking up a pair.

Dc pure is one of my favorites to skate in
Osiris D3 2001 were the moon boots to have
Two of my favorite all time shoes
Whoever judges skate shoes by their looks aren’t real skaters in my opinion.
These are honestly the best shoes I've ever skated
Have you heard of the Dc stags?
Damn those are some chunky looking shoes
Skateboarders grind, I grind too
That's why you can catch me in D.C. shoes
interior crocodile alligator i drive a Chevrolet movie theater
Thanks, ninja! I'll be getting me a pair of those dc's soon! Been looking fer a new pair.
Put a green tea bag in your shoe to get rid of the smell
Evan Batt fabric softener works well too

Thanks! All I needed to know is if you could protect those bottom laces with the flaps! Perfect review!

So you can remove the stock insole?
I hate the way they look but if they last long why tf would that matter
I have a few pair DC Pure, they are washable, i machine wash them few times, still perfect.

I'm skating some DC Court Graffik right now and they look about as bulky as the og Accel

They’re not all white, but if Andrew Reynolds ever comes out with one, definitely check out the Reynolds G6. Or just spray paint your shoes.

Do you know if the stock insoles are removable?

Deadly I've been waiting for this review I skate them all the time can always get a size 15 in that shoe I agree they last long as hell

Can you please continue the old school review series

The éS Accel Slims are also pretty sweet, with a lot more board feel
Puffy shoes are a comeback . Skate a puffy shoe vs slim I love puffy and wish they made more
Skate in white shoes all day errrrday!!💯👍✔

Classic design
I had some of these 3years ago same laces but mine had gray and black instead of white
I had the pures for 6 months and they had a little bit of ware and for a all white shoe Adidas superstars
Accel og is king but I'm a gum man myself. I want to try the Reynolds G6, the Forrest Gump skate shoe.

Pause at 0:11 and look at the chair to the right now that's what I call craftsman ship😂😂😂
Try out Proper footwear, they have a model called the Cinex. Lucky for you the only color for that shoe is all white lol
I skated a pair of DC Pure shoes. They lasted SOO long. Too bad, I don't see them anywhere anymore
Dc’s website has the pures for sale tons of others too I’d always buy direct from their website
I love those fucking accels .
I’ve gone through so many pairs ....
I just love em ‘ perfect amount of poofiness while I’m out there skating .

look up EraOne footwear. its a new company making only puffy shoes like those
You gotta get a shoe sponsored that'll make you your shoe. The Braille guys have a shoe sponsore. That to them to get you hooked up.
Yo Steve you should do a review on the Supra Ellington’s all white. $60 on Zappos
Good Video 10/10!
The es accel OG definitely skate way better than the DC pure's ....well atleast for me
Half cabs and dunks are good shoes but Idk about their availability in all white
Maxton dunks come out all the time in all white, both sb and normal. Availability should be good. The half cabs all I can find is grey and tan lol.

White skate shoes look like shit when u skate them tho...
Very helpful review if you are stuck in 2004, or like to go on walks through the mall displaying a sturdy mall grab 😂
That's why they stink man because you use them for everything from skating for going out on the Town
can't you just skate a matchcourt or shoe that isn't white
Kook shoe with kook laces, reviewed by a kook. Par for the course.
