His main focus now is to promote the many sounds and flavors of China. It’s music, it’s traditional instruments, it’s culture, and it’s dance all integrated into what he calls M-Pop! He hasn’t recorded, performed or promoted K-Pop music since 2014. In a couple of weeks that would make it 7 yrs since he’s appeared with EXO!

And what he did for his solo is considered M-pop. He is a Chinese KPOP idol and the company he is affiliated with is Korea's largest entertainment company. His solo career in China does not change the fact that he is on kpop group Exo. If there were other Chinese members of Exo, they would have a solo career in China, but they are not. We respect and support all members' solo careers. Of course, also Lay. And we know that his solo albums are M-Pop. Yeah, don't forget to listen to Lit. Have a nice day
If you take recommendations there is a dance show called Street Dance of China season 3 (SDC3), Lay, Jackson Wang, Yibo from UNIQ and Wallace a 42-year actor (he looks so young OMG) as Captains and pick their dancers/contestants to form team to compete. It is a great show! Lots of great performances from the captains and the contestants! FIRE!
