- So since the video I did with the VC London girls, I have been obsessed with getting myself on two wheels.
Very kindly Get On, put me in touch with the Phoenix Motorcycle Training Centre. So I took my CBT and passed! Follow my day to find out how I got on.

Its a slippery slope going on two wheels... its like a drug... It becomes a way of life and you will see how much nicer bikers are compared to car people... enjoy it and embrace it and get on a big bike and you will bin your car off and become a proper petrol head xxx

passed my a2 licence just a couple weeks ago. best decision I've ever made. 👌 nothing like that feeling just you, the road and the bike 🏍️
passed my A directly much better I can choose any category A1/A2 or A
Me too... A2 yesterday. The centre tried me on an A but it wasn't working out so we agreed I should go down to A2 before going in the road. Frankly I can't see myself ever wanting anything bigger than A1 let alone A2! I'm more than challenged on my supercub 125.
@@gatehanger1385 once you get used to the road and life on two wheels you can always go back in for the bigger license 👌
@@gatehanger1385 Id go direct to A and after exam go buy a smaller bike.

Well done for passing, in such atrocious weather (Although, I guess that's more realistic weather). Some of the music I could've done without - it was jarring and a lot louder than the speaking audio. Thanks for posting this video though.

Congratulations. I didn't get my test until I was 54 years old and I have never looked back. You might want to look at some of my videoes. I also had a 1981 323i in 1988, probably before you were born.
Feels great once you get used to it, right? Done my CBT just over four months back, going to hopefully go for my full licence later this year. I wish I done it years back before the new rules came in though, get some practice in for a few months then go get the big bike licence, if you are old enough ;)
PS: The CBT is not a test :)
I am 24 so I am able to go straight for my mod 1 after my theory in a few months :)

Hey, what about the eye sight test?
It is amazing how much more intensive this training is than the MSF Basic Rider Course in the USA, and as I understand it, this still only allows a small displacement. I just road a Zuma 125 (BWS) around some cones in a parking lot and they gave me a license to drive anything on two wheels. Though, while legal I would go out and buy a liter bike, lol I just bought a PCX 125 to commute on.
Haha exactly the situation in Europe as well... The 2 day courses are extremely intensive and nerve wracking for newbies

Congrats on your CBT. 1 piece of advice though get some better boots on your feet. Any ideas on the style of bike your going to go for when you get your full licence? If you feel like a ride out ,Loomies cafe in Alton A32 is great meeting place with some great ridding roads around.

See if your hands are freezing...if you are able to stop anywhere like a petrol station and run them under hot water then that will help for a while so you can feel your hands again haha

Sam is a legend was a great help & despite actually coming off which was not entirely my thought lol, it was icy and freezing my hands were blue lol, but Sam took me back to the cabin gave me a nice hot Tea doubled checked I was okay and gave me the choice whether to carry on or fold, he encourage me to Carry on and it was the best thing I've ever done, sadly my CBT renewal has just been cancelled so have to do it in Sidcup as can't wait to June need to get back on the road. She wasn't really into bikes, she just wanted to keep up with her friends. It's kind of stupid to be honest. But at the same time you could tell she wouldn't be a real biker. Even if she started riding she would most likely quit after the first minor crash. Quite sad.
