omg i feel you😂 I have a sweater that was supposed to be my lil sister’s 17th bday present. well, she’s gonna turn 18 in several days and the sweater is just the finished raglan part so far…

currently knitting a large scarf to wear so I look like a comically small and cold and cute cartoon charcter. I used to knit a lot of scarves, but I stopped for several years. Now that I've gotten better at knitting, I'm really liking how it looks compared to my old scarves

I'm still working on a blanket commission but when I finish that, I'm going to *hopefully* finish all of my other wips. That way, I can do more small projects without guilt. Since it's been too hot to work on a blanket this week, I've been relearning kumihimo braiding to use up small scraps of yarn and embroidery floss

So glad to hear I'm not the only person still on the patchwork bandwagon! I tried to make a patchwork cardigan when I was a baby knitter and the trend was at its peak, but it didn't work out because I had no clue what I was doing. Definitely gonna try it again before we get too far into fall! But first, I need to finish at least some of the 6 WIPs I've been bouncing between all summer 😅

Currently as I'm watching I'm just detangling a yarn, that turned into a mess bc both of the ends were for some reason center pull. I have to perservere tho, because I'm making squares for a patchwork cardigan and I really love the color scheme I came up with, so I'll hopefully finish it by the end of the month.
