That lead ran away from FSU like its name was Peerless Price!
lol, That's awesome! GBO!
@@Slim804Jesus loves everyone
Surely the umps had nothing to do with that…
@@rileypowell8242 The umps had a lot to do with FSU having a lead in the first place!
This is day one in Omaha dude. Insane game, and ready for more games throughout the week and a half
Underrated at bat: Cannon Peebles working a pinch hit walk to give the top 4 a chance 👏👏👏
Christian Moore hitting for the cycle
The HR for the cycle was a blast! No cheap HR at all there.
This was the craziest game I have ever been to it was insane
Local boy from Hays America getting the walk off!! Keep it rolling Vols!!
Last pitcher for FSU is got to be sick!
one missed umpire call from third base on whether player swung and broke his plane or not was difference in game. the tennesee player clearly swung
@@LonniePayton-y9e I am not a fan of either team, so I feel as though I am unbiased in my take on this, but I love baseball, and I watched it live. I agree with you, in my opinion, the bat crossed the plate for strike three, and the game should have been over. I also think this critical call in the game should have been part of this video.
@@LonniePayton-y9e
No it was not. That was a 50/50 call . And no ump is gonna end a game like that on a 50/50 check swing call . Get outta here hater
@@LonniePayton-y9ethat was 50/50.

I bet on Tennessee & can’t believe they won how they did..This baseball game had everything..
Unbelievable. Go big orange!!!!!
Full count two outs bottom of ninth up two and to lose is the worst feeling ever but exactly what the fans paid to see :)
I said it's great... to be... a Tennessee Vol
Absolutely baseball at its best, the "Hail Mary" if you will! It doesnt get much better than this! Go Vols 🎉 😂!!!
This was one of the greatest games I have ever seen
WHAT...A...GAME!!! Damn, what a game....!
Any Peyton Manning sightings yet? he was there the last 2 years
was there
Hey was there with this son.... They actually interviewed him in the top of the third....
I was at work watching this game, can’t believe how it came out
Yeah that panicky pitching change by Tennessee in the 1st inning didn't work and cost them nonetheless and it cost them a pitcher. Will never understand going to the bullpen that early.
He wasn’t really panicking. We do that just about every game 1 in a series. He’s our “opener” you could say. The real starter is the guy they brought in after, he just plays better for some reason being brought in from the bullpen.
They do that quite a bit regardless, like an opener.
Main Friday starter needed Tommy John surgery. He had some bad outings previously in relief. Stamos has always been an opener ever since the injury to Russell so he’s never gone deeper than 5 outs. Not abnormal at all he got pulled that early.
Great win! Hope to see you guys face the Aggies in the final so you can finish in 2nd place. WHOOP!
How did it go in the sec tourney when vols and aggies played ? EXACTLY
yay the aggies are losers and my tennessee vols are winners
This game was INTENSE!
What a game
What a game!!!
*SEC*
GBO!!! 🍊
I felt like he swung in the last inning... but you always give the 50/50 to the higher rated team.
Take your L and move on
@samwoodward2676 I'm sure you have that quote memorized. As Aabama has told yall that for almost 20+ straight years. Congrats for Tennessee actually being good at something for once, hope yall win it all 🫡
The first three innings of the game were nauseating. Both teams committed several errors on routine plays. College baseball in general is low quality baseball with players having difficulty making simple throws to first base, fielding routine ground and fly balls, etc. This game was an exciting, often ugly and poorly played, good game. Tennessee was fortunate the game did not end on Burke's 2-2 check swing, but they made good on the gift from the third base umpire and finished it.
Replay showed it was a good call. Nice novel btw, Hemingway.🍊
@@Silverfox1982 It was a questionable call at best. I'll take it, but it was objectively a questionable call. The outcome of a game hinges on much more than one call. Tennessee reeled off a string of clutch hitting when it mattered and won the game. My description of the game as a whole is accurate.
Silver fox. Lmao on the hemingway
As many errors as there were in the infield, the pitchers on both teams made amazing plays that are as good as any major league pitcher could make.
Replay showed it was a terrible call. Be biased or be real. Ofc you’re still happy your team won but not on a legitimate call
OUCH that hurt
I agree, I think he swung. But the plate doesn’t matter. There is no rule anywhere in baseball about the plate. Only rule is in the ncaa about the hips and that just stating it’s a determining factor. No official rule exist in baseball. But let’s say we go off the hips. It’s of the angle of the third base ump not the front of the plate. Go look at a baseball field then then the picture. It’s damn close either way. Fsu had time and a chance to put it away and didn’t. That call gave them a chance and they took advantage. Bad game by both teams honestly. Go Vols!
Game should have been over when 3rd base umpire Shawn Rakos called what should have been strike 3 a check swing. Poor judgement by him.
Ok so intentionally walk Christian Moore lol😂
Go volssssssss babyyyyyyy
Convenient to leave out the horrible blown check swing call lol
They showed it in slow motion. The bat never passed the plate. It could have went either way. But that didn't win the game. The hitting from TN and the crappy pitching from FSU is what decided that game
@@valentine_4eva lol what?? They literally freeze framed it and drew a line. It’s all over twitter. He’s wayyyyyy out in front the plate.
@@btconnergaming now they did and it may have been. But the game was not stopped and they didn't freeze it then make the call. They had to make the call in normal motion. Gameplay motion and it could have went either way. But FSU still beat their selves in the ninth. They played better than TN did thru 8 1/2 innings. But couldn't close them out. I would hate to be that umpire that made that call. But they said it was a 50 50 call. So fortunately for us it went our way. I hope you guys can get over that and continue on. That one call didn't beat you. You still had a two run lead and have up two more hits to loose. You had a chance to take it to extras or even still win after that call and couldn't. So that call is irrelevant once it's made. Cause it no longer matters. Some people will say that's why FSU lost but it's not. FSU lost cause of bad bullpen pitching. Case closed.
Hide the knives in Tallahassee..
Noticed they didn’t show either one of the batters that were struck out for Tennessee and the game should have been over. The umpires stole the game from Florida State the same way they stole the Florida game from Clemson. Everyone, I know that watched the game said the refs screwed Florida State big time even SEC fans I know.
The SEC fans you know must’ve missed the dozen or more strikes above, below, and to the left and right called for FSU. They were calling strikes at Tennessee’s knees all game and FSU had four chances on the last out to seal the game and blew it. Get over it, nerd.
@@phantomlord067
Those calls were nowhere near as bad as the blatant calls that allowed Tennessee to win a game. They had no business winning. Same way the refs helped Florida in a big way. Plenty of other people are making similar comments and you noticed they don’t show any of the controversial calls in the highlights because that doesn’t fit the ESPN/SEC narrative. And again a Charleston sports radio host. A guy that’s had a radio show in Charleston 30 years. Huge Alabama fan. Was a cheerleader at South Carolina and is headed to Charleston gamecock club. He said it was BS in Clemson as well.
@@nedhill1242 FSU was up 9-4, 11-7, and 11-8 going into the 9th. If they had any business winning, the refs shouldn’t have guided their pitches into Tennessee’s bats with their almighty telepathic powers to score the last four runs.
It seems we have a salty Floridian on our hands
@@propanebeats7628
Hope you don’t get paid to think! I love when people think they know someone from a couple of comments.
Thats wild these highlights didn't want to show the evidence of this game being over with that strike 3.
game ain’t over til blue says so
The bat never went passed the plate on the check swing. It literally could have gone either way. But fortunately it went TN way and they just beat up on FSU bullpen to say now the fat lady has sung. It's like it was destined to be a win by TN no matter what. Give credit to the noles tho damn they good. Had my fuckin nerves shot the whole game. I even turned it off when we were down 9 to 4. I turned it back on at the start of the 8 th inning. So I saw the comeback it was like a story from a book. But go vols. 🎉
GBO!!!
I’m NOT a fsu and never will be but they not only got robbed the thief killed them during the robbery!
Wow
A check-swing call can be very difficult, but in my opinion, the bat crossed the plate, and the game should have been over.
I can't stand Tennessee.
GBO 🍊 🤍🧡⛰️🔝😁
Great game but FSU was robbed at the end. Go Noles🍢🐴
Hold that L for me 🍊✌🏻
It looked like the Vols just took it.. GBO 🍊

Florida State had two strikeouts to two different players where the ops just gave it to the player. Go watch the Clemson Florida game. Florida had a radically different strike zonethan Clemson. Even a Charleston radio host on ESPN is a huge Alabama fan and South Carolina graduate said Clemson got screwed.
