I do not have drill core samples, so can I apply this methodology to determine the porosity of my rocks sampled on the surface? if yes, can the values be representative of porosity for same the rock in the subsurface since the rocks beneath might suffer from compaction due to weight of overburden material? Thank you very much for this videos.
