@@priscillajohnson8354 no it isn't. Especially not in the Bay Area. I'm from Atlanta...grew up there. The dining culture has been in the crapper for a while.
She mentioned he reviewed a restaurant in Stone Mountain, Fairburn and College Park and none of these restaurants are in Atlanta. Come to Inman Park, Candler Park or Buckhead and reviews restaurants in Atlanta.
How about black business in Atlanta form a conference and work with consultants for research on what customers want and development standards and protocols for their businesses that they are expected to adopt. Sort of like a restaurant Union. This could also greatly improve their ability to serve customers better and grow/survive.
I'm glad for Keith that he's getting all the attention cuz it's well deserved but folks the young man's only being honest. He always says like they could have had a bad day and it's clearly based on his taste. Buds is not that serious. Death, threats and etc. Uplift the young brother and his success and his restaurants. Listen if you agree with it. Improve we all can get better
Restaurant culture here is definitely lacking but I’m from a food city (NOLA) and frequent other legit food cities (Chi, LV, NYC). So, it’s unfair to grade based on that. It’s decent though.
Let’s think critically.. My wife and I pull up to a busy restaurant., she runs in check the wait time.. she comes back and say 2 hr and they don’t do take out.. our only options are to wait or leave.!!! Regular people.. critically thinking,, now she come out and say the same thing but I’m a food critic with 14 million followers,, and they know me.. I might say., wait baby let me go in and check. Lol why did he go in the store when his family came out and told him it’s a 2 hr wait the rules? He said they was nice and he understood the rules.. bro created this issue with candy.. he could have just went in the first time with his family if he did actually want to be treated special. Or he could have been treated like us all and waited the 2 hrs or left and came back another day
I understand peoples are being upset about certain customer service but that’s across the whole country. I’ve been going to Atlanta my whole life and I’ve never had a bad experience at any of the restaurants maybe one or two but 99% of them especially black owned restaurants I’ve always had great customer service
@@Teetoy4 If I don’t want special treatment then I say no when offered special treatment. I don’t play stupid like God isn’t watching as I pass all the people that’s been waiting for a table
Yeah I’m glad people are being honest. About time we stop overpaying for bad service in the name of “support”
Big facts. I been off that. You have great service and good food? You’ll get my money. If you don’t? Bye bye now 👋🏾.
The real takeaway is, look how powerful social media influencers have become! To the point main stream media covers them!
I don’t mind it… some “influencers” are more like journalists who expose things that the news or media won’t.
Great social change and lost freedoms regained are resulting from normal everyday citizens!
Keep the momentum going! YES!!!
😂😂 that's how many of "our" businesses operate and so glad he's shining a light on this.
Atlanta burnt tf out. Still holding on to early 2000s glory
it’s a Black People thing but ATL is definitely the mecca of customer service lacking in humanity.

Trash Culture
No surprise

Y'all leave for the thrill knowing the outcome of this place
LBH - The food scene is trash there. The"we can't sit you until all members of the party are present" is trash.
It really is. Fellaship, owned by that NFL player, pulled that mess.
I kind of get it though, it could be a safety, or space thing.
That’s at all restaurants food critics sucks

He did nothing wrong but gave his honest opinion 🤷🏽♀️
It’s not just Atlanta
He has 14 million followers, if they didn’t know, they certainly know now.
STAND ON IT!!

I love Keith
Hes not lying hes TELLING THE TRUTH. GAYLANTA IS CANCELED. 🙁
We all saw what went down. This restaurant is trippin. Lucky for Barack, he won’t need a reservation. I imagine there are a lot of empty seats now.

That’ll never happen, unfortunately. And I’m a pretty optimistic person.
