I know this was reworked as So Cold and there are parts that remind you of that but they are both individual songs and should've been re recorded in the studio.
breakingjesus57 You mean predecessors? And yeah. Also Sooner or Later. One of the riffs in Always is identical to the intro riff to Sooner or Later. :)
Breaking Benjamin is amazing! They are one of our biggest inspirations as a band (hence our name) lol. Anyways not to self promote or anything but if you like them as much as we do maybe you should check out ou...
Are we sliding?, ...sliding; are we sliding? sliding slide? slide...slide? No, i'm just sitting here hoping for BB to record this so i can have the precious sliding slide a lifetime xD
jist want to say thanks for letting me here these 2 great traks that otherwise i probibly would have never herd. its great how theres lyrics and riffs from so cold in both these songs
yeah, the last time i saw em here in houston, he downed two beers on stage, so who knows how many he had that night before and after the show. but that was before he got sick and canceled alot of shows.
wish they actually made a legit recording of this song.... breaking benjamin is my fav band no doubt but one gripe i have bout them is that they dont release other songs that theyve recorded but just havent gone on the records....but still theyre awesome
@@IastrozombieI Yeah I agree 100%. These songs are good but they sound pretty derivative to me, whereas So Cold has that very distinct Breaking Benjamin sound.
These songs still have a breaking Benjamin vibe with somehow more meaningful lyrics then their already meaningful songs they make. Also, I do like these two songs better than the one that so cold is.
@CamDT000 Glad you noticed the connection. Not to be a dick or anything but if you notice the lyrics - and this is just a guess but Always is an early version of So Cold.
I love So Cold, but Inertia and Always were done so dirty! Especially, Inertia might be one of my new favorites. Doubt it will happen, but hopefully we'll get a studio version for both in the future.
i dont know if you noticed but i think that inertia is only a mix of some part in tunes, if you check at 6:15 you'll see that this is the same part as in another great hit called so cold at 2:22 to be precise so be informed ;-)
@ExplodingGrandma thats the best part about bens songs. they are all improvements on his old songs. lots of bands spend too long trying to make completely new songs which end up rubish, when they could just use sections of their demo songs.
@TheGameRain haha nice. just a little FYI for anyone that didnt know. On all Breaking Benjamin's albums other than "Dear Agony", Ben was either abusing alcohol or some other drug the entire time they were being worked on. i love Dear Agony, but it is my least favorite album. so your comment rings some sort of true opinion.
Ben is actually terrified of singing in front of people, but at the beginning of his career he had an Alcohol Addiction which helped him with that "Phobia" (no pun intended).Since he has overcome his Addiction he is still afraid but deals with it in other ways.
Maybe its just me, but I can see the song "So Cold" within "Inertia". Especially if you listening to the beginning of Inertia, you can see "So Cold"s beginning. "So Cold" just seems like a slower and lighter version of the beginning of "Inertia" if you listen closely
i feel so bad for him :(( i rarely ever get nightmares, but when i do, it haunts me for the next week. i can't imagine having them as often as he says he does.
@ExplodingGrandma actually, always and inertia became so cold. you can easily hear the parts he used, like the chorus from always and the bridge from inertia.
Always & Inertia sound like the song "So Cold". Infact, I read somewhere that Ben rights 5 or 6 songs just to make 1 song on the album. So in a sense all his unreleased stuff are "released" but in bits and pieces scattered in various songs. @breakingbenfan89 Actually by this time he quit drinking and I think he's at least a year sober.
The verse of Always is a palm muted version of the intro of Sooner or Later. The chorus of always is the same as So Cold. The bridge of Inertia is the bridge of So Cold. That sum it up?
Definitely some So Cold going on in this 'Always'. I have all three albums, so I'd be surprised if this wasn't before We Are Not Alone, with that blatant So Cold riff usage.
Is it just me or does Ben sound a bit like Eddie Vedder in 'Always'? I dunno how I feel about Inertia, but Always is freaking awesome. Too bad they recycled lyrics for So Cold, I'd love to see Always on a future CD!
did u get that off of no-games? man i used to have all the songs on my mp3 player till it died. wish i would of backed it all up. since they took the site down.
Even drunk, He manages to sing freaking awesome. That doesn't surprise me...
Probably thought he couldn't perform well sober. It's an unfortunate trap
I know this was reworked as So Cold and there are parts that remind you of that but they are both individual songs and should've been re recorded in the studio.
i honestly would rather these 2 songs in high quality instead of so cold😭
@@toxiflexx04 8 months late but same, Always and Inertia both in better quality would be so much better than So Cold
And thus, So Cold was born
The verse is the opening riff to Sooner or Later just palm Muted.
He was 1000x more talented drunk and self taught then I will ever be sober and fully educated.
He can sing better live while drunk then most bands can in the studio.
Those vocals! Jesus! This two should've been included in the So Cold EP at least, i need this two songs in a studio version :O
Damn, it's almost sad how drunk Ben sounds when he's talking. Thank God he's clean and sober now!😊
Nothing more attractive than a drunk guy singing about bad relationships and hatred, amirite?
piss
Piss is better? meh these songs do never fail to get my head bangin though so theyve done their job in my opinion
Don't be shy to come up front.....lol
Inertia is such a beautiful song. I wish it was released at least on shallow bay
Breaking Benjamin never disappoints me. I listen to all their cds at least once every single day and I know Dear Agony will blow us away.
Can confirm it was great
can also confirm it was great
Lmfao, the way he talks to his audience in the beginning of the video cracks me up
His blood back then was like a million percent vodka and burbon and Jack Daniels and every alcohol in the world mixed into one
You don't need to mix all the alcohol to get more drunk, just drink enough of one of them. Haha.
Jonathan Wilson you don't get it.
"are we sliding, are we sliding, sliding?" lol
the real bobby what does that mean?
@@jeff7764 Ben was just high as a kite and didn't even know what he was saying
I love these songs. I wish we could get them to play them again.
always is amazing
inertia....wow....effing amazing
The spiritual successors of So Cold
breakingjesus57 You mean predecessors? And yeah. Also Sooner or Later. One of the riffs in Always is identical to the intro riff to Sooner or Later. :)
Inertia is cold as it gets...that is award winning
Ah yes. The predecessors to So Cold 😍
"Well that's alright, lets give this another try" 1:16 sounds farmiliar =p
also, the rhythm guitar in "intertia" is the same as the rhythm in "so cold"
this songs are live, what a voice
i want these songs for my psp
I love the songs! It's cool cause both mixed makes so cold.
+SKAR Venegas Rather, there are elements of each song that they reused in So Cold.
that's what I mean.
Fuuuusion.....HA!
Breaking Benjamin is amazing! They are one of our biggest inspirations as a band (hence our name) lol. Anyways not to self promote or anything but if you like them as much as we do maybe you should check out ou...
Holy shit hi
This is so awesome! I'm happy that BB combined these songs, 'So Cold' is one of the best!
Are we sliding?, ...sliding; are we sliding? sliding slide? slide...slide?
No, i'm just sitting here hoping for BB to record this so i can have the precious sliding slide a lifetime xD
jist want to say thanks for letting me here these 2 great traks that otherwise i probibly would have never herd. its great how theres lyrics and riffs from so cold in both these songs
by far, the best band EVER!!!!!
The rhythm guitar of Always tough!
yeah, the last time i saw em here in houston, he downed two beers on stage, so who knows how many he had that night before and after the show. but that was before he got sick and canceled alot of shows.
They actually combined the two songs to make the beautiful song known as So Cold.
Uses Polymorphus Yugioh card to make So Cold
breaking benjamin is the best thing to hit the world of grunge. I've loved them since the we are not alone album.
They should release an album that has their unreleased stuff and their covers on.
my goddamnly awesome BB. you guys should totally do remaster versions of these songs!
wish they actually made a legit recording of this song.... breaking benjamin is my fav band no doubt but one gripe i have bout them is that they dont release other songs that theyve recorded but just havent gone on the records....but still theyre awesome
I like both of these songs way better than so cold. I would much rather have these two songs remade
XxTwinRova NO WAY, I like both songs, but so cold is a master piece
@@IastrozombieI Yeah I agree 100%. These songs are good but they sound pretty derivative to me, whereas So Cold has that very distinct Breaking Benjamin sound.

Holy shit, I've listened to Inertia hundreds of times and never heard that before XD
I love So Cold, but Inertia and Always were done so dirty! Especially, Inertia might be one of my new favorites. Doubt it will happen, but hopefully we'll get a studio version for both in the future.
This song is so sick. It's the long-lost, older brother of So Cold.
i dont know if you noticed but i think that inertia is only a mix of some part in tunes, if you check at 6:15 you'll see that this is the same part as in another great hit called so cold at 2:22 to be precise so be informed ;-)

thanks for the upload, now i can jam to all the bbenjamin songs!!
yeah...he's probably drunk
goddamn...i want these for my psp
awesome song
I like this version better than the actual So Cold. This also proves that BB is an amazing band live.
@TheGameRain haha nice. just a little FYI for anyone that didnt know. On all Breaking Benjamin's albums other than "Dear Agony", Ben was either abusing alcohol or some other drug the entire time they were being worked on. i love Dear Agony, but it is my least favorite album. so your comment rings some sort of true opinion.
i listened that next time and i think so too;) i know that he had some trouble with that but probably he's clean now as he said by himself
Ben is actually terrified of singing in front of people, but at the beginning of his career he had an Alcohol Addiction which helped him with that "Phobia" (no pun intended).Since he has overcome his Addiction he is still afraid but deals with it in other ways.
great songs!
@TheCyprusX I must agree.. These 2 songs would be some of the best Breaking Benjamin songs
solo comes from inertia, and the line "That's alright, let's give this another try" comes from Always the solo in Inertia is the So Cold solo
Maybe its just me, but I can see the song "So Cold" within "Inertia". Especially if you listening to the beginning of Inertia, you can see "So Cold"s beginning. "So Cold" just seems like a slower and lighter version of the beginning of "Inertia" if you listen closely
@FantuckinabulouS Same back to you pal... the chorus on this song is perfect and i do not know why this isnt a real song.
Aahhhhmuhhhgahhd this should be on an album it makes me so happy
@omarninja I love this band and I completely agree with what you've said. I've also joined 'Blessing Benjamin' hub. :)
i feel so bad for him :(( i rarely ever get nightmares, but when i do, it haunts me for the next week. i can't imagine having them as often as he says he does.
@ExplodingGrandma actually, always and inertia became so cold. you can easily hear the parts he used, like the chorus from always and the bridge from inertia.
inertia is the most awesome version of this song. including "so cold".
Always & Inertia sound like the song "So Cold". Infact, I read somewhere that Ben rights 5 or 6 songs just to make 1 song on the album. So in a sense all his unreleased stuff are "released" but in bits and pieces scattered in various songs.
@breakingbenfan89 Actually by this time he quit drinking and I think he's at least a year sober.
yes. just yes
@Poker928 i didn't mind the new version, but if ben wins the court case i wanna hear new stuff soon
@themeleed I didn't know that first but you're absolutely right! I absolutely love Breaking Benjamin :)
The verse of Always is a palm muted version of the intro of Sooner or Later. The chorus of always is the same as So Cold. The bridge of Inertia is the bridge of So Cold. That sum it up?
inertia is so fucking good.
no release date yet, but sometime this summer
i think they combined parts of both songs to make so cold
They should release these on albums jsut for the heck of it, i like them.
@breakingbenfan89 its not alcoholism. its like a kidney thing from when he was a alcoholic. he didnt drink for the last two albums
these are both awesome, but I like always more
these were played before saturate, their debut album
i havent heard of this song...but i really like it :)
he really was drunk? nice! a thousand likes then! (actually it's totally normal to be drunk when playing in public and on concerts :D)
Yeah Ben was an alcoholic way back then. I can hear the drunkenness in his voice lol
@xxXxBreakingxXxx no but i have heard So Cold live.
You can listen to these songs and see how they developed into their released songs. Very interesting.
"always" has a verse part pretty similar to intro of "sooner or later", i think.
Hey! Always and Inertia were combined to So cold
Definitely some So Cold going on in this 'Always'.
I have all three albums, so I'd be surprised if this wasn't before We Are Not Alone, with that blatant So Cold riff usage.
he should remaster these songs and bring them back cause inertia is a awesome name for a song \m/
i don't know why, but i love this song
both songs are KICK ASS!!!
thumbs up if u agree!
I would love if they threw these on an album; probably won't happen, but it'd be nice.
@TheGameRain Thats what the first three albums were lol their good, but thats what it was
@FantuckinabulouS It is
Is it just me or does Ben sound a bit like Eddie Vedder in 'Always'?
I dunno how I feel about Inertia, but Always is freaking awesome. Too bad they recycled lyrics for So Cold, I'd love to see Always on a future CD!
These two songs were combined to create So Cold, and were never released
is song downloadable like this live version its not on limewire or frostwire -_- i want this live version on my ipod...
they wont release these songs because they are so old and revolved into the song so cold
they have. several look em up.
Nice.
wow ur right some parts do sound like 'So Cold"
yeah me too
yeah thats true
im pretty sure these are pretty old, like when they started... thats just what i think.. im probably wrong tho
@N4ll1fy ...You wanna sing it for us? Im sure youtube would love to hear your version.
did u get that off of no-games? man i used to have all the songs on my mp3 player till it died. wish i would of backed it all up. since they took the site down.
