The revs are known having bend nuns, even hitting a snow bank to hard can bend them, I recommend pulling the motor to do a full inspection and reinforce it, if not you could run it to issues of Burning up belts, or prematurely wearing out bearings, should be a fun build! Looking forward to it!
I have heard that from friends that own Revs! Thanks for the insight! I might have to look into pulling the motor and making sure the nuns are okay! Thanks for watching! Can't wait to share the rest of this process!
A quick check is to check the gap around the shock inside the upper A-arm. Should be close to the center. Even if it's off a touch..... just run it unless you feel energetic.lol
Can’t lie I really have a thing for those Freerides🤨 And thank you!!! I can’t wait to share this project with everyone! Considering flipping it when it’s all said and done! Not 100% sure yet!
Good to see a bunch of guys who know nothing about sleds going deep into a resto. I understand it's for UA-cam and channel content, but that sled isn't worth the time it's going to take to make it a runner.
Part II. Unfortunately Parts for this sled are No longer available. I had an 2003 Beaver that I had to rebuild with a complete NUN assembly. I might of got the last one from Ski Doo . It’s a parts sled unless you find another one with the parts you need for free also. Great looking sled but not worth spending money on. Good luck
@@HiOctane62 I can't wait to share the progress with everyone! And I will definitely check them out! Thank you for supporting the channel I appreciate it!
Mine wasn’t a beaver tail. Of course I’d search here. Mine was super easy. I’m going to post the video I did after the install. I need the read bumper which I’ll order Friday . I also need a new track a 144”. I’ll get that with my next Army Reserve check. I’ll post my video in a few
Part it out and junk the rest, that bottom end in motor is gonna be junk. Specially since they use packed grease bearings. I can guarantee the bearings are all rusted and it probably won't make it 30mi down trail before it starts knocking. Both my buddys sleds did this after leaving them in a trailer for 3yrs and not running them, 2k miles on motors. Sleds weren't worth the cost of a rebuild
Sweet!!! Love the Gen 1's! Price is right! I have a 06 yet that I love. Motor finally went out after over 11000 miles. 600 SDI though. 800's weren't the best overall especially with gas and oil. PTO seal likes to go out and possibly replace the carb boots. That's what kills this engine. Drill out that plastic piece connected to the clutch guard. Keeps the clutch and belt cooler extending life!

@@zaclucarz no need to pull the motor. Pull big pipe and you will see if its cracked or bent wich I'm sure it is.
Coming to the Dark side...... I love it!!!😎 All things aside it's a great rebuild for the channel and to flip it.🙂

Good videos keep them coming
Is there a part 2?
Part 2? Couldn’t Find it
Anything new on this bud?
Yo where is part 2 at
That sucks. It’s a beaver Tail. I’d change that. I have an 05 Rev and put a tunnel extension this past weeking
I was planning on doing a beaver tail delete once I get it running! How hard was it?
Zac Lucarz well I sure would like to see the progress on this. Try Tracks USA. Love your videos to Zac!

Where the hell is part 2? You abandon this project?

How much you pay for the sled
$0

How much did u pay for the sled
Freee!
Lol, “this is dirty so we are going to just throw this away.” City people SMH
How much u pay for it
You won't believe this but I got it for free. I'll explain soon
Why didn’t you just use heat on the bolts
We had a bad gas leak. Wasn’t gonna be a good idea to add heat/flames to the mix
Zac Lucarz reminds me of when I used the dremel to remove the fuel filter clamps
Wrecked? That definitely isnt wrecked LOL
Literally
Considering its been crashed in the front and the motor has not ran in over 10 years and needs major work to get it up to speed I would say it is
plastic weld those plastic parts man, come on look up plastic stapler
