I cannot agree completely. Vintersorg was AMAZING. It wasn't male-infused female led vocals I hear on this. It was a man singing alone, in many songs. There is a slight difference. At least to my ears.
It's sad that Vintersorg had to leave, but at the same time i also wanted Vortex to be lead as he once was. His voice us so awesome and a perfect match for this kind of music. Lazare is also pretty damn great btw.
The first album and the olden domain was my introduction...damn..back in 98-99 the dude from Ulver (Garm) sang fo them..ahh to be a teenager again..lol!!

First time I’ve ever heard of them and now I leave here knowing that this is the best black metal song I’ve ever heard. Or in the history of black metal for that matter. I’m amazed. Just wow. What in the world? I consider myself a fan of progressive metal but never in my life have I ever enjoyed a black metal song. Normally when I hear black metal it’s usually Behemoth.
