Phenomenal performance in The Raid 2. He's a charismatic, handsome, ethnically ambiguous actor with a better command of the English language than 90% of Americans. I would be shocked if he doesnt get some work in Hollywood in the near future.

Hollywood _really_ needs to wake up to this dude. what I like about most of mixed race indonesian actors or non actors, they still speak and proud of their Bahasa Indonesia.. sadly to say, back in my country, there are some of us try to speak Bahasa Melayu/Malaysia with "so-called" Western accent to make them look more modern or from upper class society ..and they are not even mixed..

can't wait till the 3rd movie, can they actually top this one? that's a hard thing to do because this movie worked on many levels and multiple genres, like I said this movie without the martial arts fighting scenes still worked as a superb Mob War movie, and if Gareth Evans goes into the 3rd movie with that goal in mind he will succeed yet again, you got me thinking about a lot of things that can be a possibility for the 3rd movie, a lot of people mentioned it was odd that Mad Dog and Prakoso were in The Raid 1 and 2 with basically the same look other than Prakoso was more of a kept to himself Assassin until called upon where as Mad Dog had a more active position with a Captain of the Main Organization, what if for the 3rd movie there is a side story mentioning that there were 3 brothers know as the Triplets of Death Mad Dog, Prakoso and another 3rd (Ruhian) character, and the surviving 3rd one finds out The Assassin (Cecep) was responsible for ultimately killing Prakoso his brother in the alley way, (Cecep) The Assassin who was killed by (Iko) has a surviving Brother a twin who was just as skilled but is a man with no Mob Affiliations with a family, the 3rd (Ruhian) character offers his allegiance to The Yakuza with the sole purpose of Vengence for his Brothers, (Iko) for Mad Dog and the Other peaceful surviving twin another of The Assassin (Cecep) character and both their families, I can see many incredible fights in this type of story line while keeping the whole Mob Crime movie feel to it

He attended an international school when growing up in Indonesia, like Julie Estelle (Hammer Girl). A lot of well-off Indonesians go to international schools or just are fortunate enough to attend schools with good English teachers, so much of Indonesia's upper class speaks English quite well.
Haha, you might be surprised at how many Asian countries use English as the primary medium of instruction (or at least encourage their schools to do so). Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, India, Hong Kong, Indonesia, etc - the younger generation is very likely to speak fluent English in these places.
