I am 24 and I faced this condition and got treated as well for this after intervention using 10x medications, removal of filter and cleaning of clots with cathedrals, it was a bit painful and mentally stressing for me and my family. But hopefully I am fine now, credit goes to Gangaram hospital Delhi for this. Sir, I was suffered before 2 months from both PE and in right leg DVT in thigh, during admission at hospital doctor given heparin and currently anticoagulation started of Dabigatran and ecosprin started.. I am 38 year, Doppler test of right leg done before 15 days, doctor say's it shows improvement that is clot reducing ..till it is necessary to place IVC filter for my current condition or for avoid recurrence from PE?

Can't say without investigations. But why think extreme of cancer etc. Get yourself evaluated.

We usually continue for 6 months. But some conditions lifelong. Depends on various factors

Yes. But post deep venous thrombosis. It's a different beast.
