Excellent video! Raw footage of what places in Australia are actually like! How is the job market there at the moment? I'm looking to find work in human resources and/or office administration. Also, would you suggest getting say around 2 years worth of experience before coming to Australia?
Thanks Luke, glad you like the video. Yes, I would definitely get at least a couple years of work experience under your belt first, then check the job situation in Australia to see how it's looking. At the moment it's not great, in fact I'd say it's bad. See wp.me/p7ilBV-4qJ
Nice, it's one of my dreams to live down there. Currently in Vancouver, nice place too, but I just love Australia and would prefer the warmer weather. I've heard it's very expensive, what are your thoughts about it?
+David DM I think you should check out my website over at www.bobinoz.com/ and have a good look around, I have 1100 pages or more of my thoughts there, including the whole section on the cost of living. I've been living here eight years now, never regretted a single minute.
Fernando Torres not hard at all mate. We have some of the strictest construction and mining codes I the world and there's always work for engineers. Almost every engineering firm I interact with seems to have a few foreign engineering students working for it. A fair few Brazillians, like Raph, our concrete tester, they come here, fall in love with the place and stay. Sydney/Newcastle is a good place to look because of the construction and mining. Newcastle is way more laid back and enjoyable. Sydney is a rat race shit hole.
Hello, I am studying shipbuilding and ocean engineering (Shortly, Naval Architecture) at Istanbul Technical University in Turkey I am about to graduate. Right after I graduate I am planning to move to Australia. Do you know anything about job opportunities in Shipyard industry? I know There are plenty of jobs in Mining and construction in Australia. Would it be possible for me to work as engineer in Mining and construction?
I normally see about one snake a year at most, and I live in a semi rural location. Snakes aren't really a problem here, they keep themselves to themselves.
@ Fernando, I'd be guessing if I try to answer you, I simply don't know. If you check out the following page though, you'll find links to online employment agencies that should help you find out: wp.me/P1BtF8-aC

Nice to see some views of Australia on UA-cam from an actual adult and not some air head girl. :-)
Wow Australia is my dream, Im studying an engineering. Is it hard to get a job as an enginner in Australia?
+Fernando Torres I heard that if you move to Sydney you won't have much trouble finding a job.
