I visited Napoli for 5 days and couldn’t wait to get out of there, the city is disgusting, trash everywhere, the drivers are reckless, I almost got hit by a motorcycle while walking on the sidewalk, the food is really overrated, I went to that famous L Antica pizzeria da Michele and didn’t feel impressed at all. Thank God I went to Rome after that and got my mind cleared after what I saw in Napoli.

As every big city in the world, it surely has its own problems, including traffic and sometimes cleanliness. It is also true that what it lucks in some areas, Napoli makes up with the generosity and hospitality of its people. Defining the city as “disgusting” means having completely missed the mix of history, culture and beauty that transpires from any of its churches, streets and monuments. The food? I have lived in many different countries with delicious cuisines, including Japan. In my opinion, it is difficult to say the least to find a city with better variety, taste and price. Just my personal opinion (and that of millions of other people that visit Napoli in growing numbers ❤️)
