EXCELLENT video as I was able to replace the Lamp on my 2010 Tiguan in about 90 secs....except you did it on the Left side and I know why! On the right side is that black plastic case right in the way of putting your hand down there. So you either need small hands for the Right Side or be prepared to scrape it a bit to get your hand down in there. Also I needed a small flat end screwdriver to pry the bulb out of the casing, and then used a small pair of pliers to clamp the metal flanges together so the bulb was tight in the housing. Anyway, as stated, EXCELLENT video!
Very sweet... saved me a lot of money. Instead of going to the stealership, I was able to change and save parts and labor. Thanks

i dont need to change the lights YET, but this video just gave me great comfort with how easy it's gonna be lol
I had to get a the nail file from my fingernail clippers to pry the dead bulb apart from it's housing, and I had to gently pinch the new bulb into place. And this is why I had to look for this video in the first place - I couldn't figure out how to detach the bulb.

I have the 2014, and this is not how the socket is configured. The process may have similar steps, but it does not look like that and does not have wires attached.
Is it still just plug and play for the lights?
I don’t know why you show the easy side my problem is the driver side the passenger side is easy the driver side would interesting to see how to do . Thanks
