Excellent build, I put this one together a few years ago and it was a fun build. The diorama box is great and the speed addition really sets the whole thing off nicely.
You did a really nice job on this kit. As a huge fan of Lost in Space, and the robot in particular (I watched it in syndication when I was little), I always wished that they'd made the model more accurate, but a good paint job can go a long way toward making its flaws less noticeable.
Thanks, I made it during lockdown, I wasnt allowed to go to the beach to get sand so I used train ballast and painted it. The kit itself came together nicely
Wonderful work. One observation. The spoken part warns of an approaching alien. The head bubble is extended as if the robot is at full alert. But the right arm is flaccid, as if at rest. Wouldn't it have been better to turn the arm to arc upward as if at full alert?

Great job. Apparently you can still find this kit.
Thanks very much

That would have been nice, but the internals of the model was actually a bit tight, it was bad enough to put in LED's much less servos etc
Excellent! Is it a bit larger than 1/24 scale?
Yes , it looks more like 16th scale but it didn't have a scale on the box
I Like iT . I Would Love Find The Light Kit You Did And Try My Luck. I Am Scared To Start The Mobiobus Build . Ihave It But Afraid Of It.
I took a sound module (from Amazon) and hooked up a couple of leds in series so that the lights blinked according to the sound.
