and arthur wanted to face the sunset on a hill to remember all the good times. heard this dialogue on my second playthrough and it brought back ptsd of the first.
we're not sure about Mac Davey or Jenny but everyone else yes, they had to die for the ending to turn out the way it was intended. If Sean Lenny and Hosea didn't die things might not have gone so downhill so fast.
Its a shame why Kieran died. He used to be a Colm O' Driscoll member but he abandoned that and joined Dutch's gang. He was a good man tbh because he was doing his chores as if it was nothing.

I found Kieran's while riding through the forest to get to the camp. There was a small opening between the trees like a small hidden meadow with flowers. It was afternoon so the sun was peeking through the trees, warm and golden. The whole scene and where he was buried was very fitting for his gentle soul.
My favorite part is how much effort Charles put into Arthur's grave. Compared to the others, you could tell how much Arthur meant to Charles, and Charles made sure his grave would reflect that

funfact : after the mission where molly gets killed by miss grimshaw theres an object called MOLLY_GRAVE that spawns under the ground near camp , foreshadowing that molly was once supposed to have a different fate
Being "just" a video game, it's quite remarkable the connection you get with the gang. Everybody feels alive and real in a sense that no other game comes close to. Right now I'm doing my second playthrough (after some years since the first one) and my god is this pure perfection. And this time I care less about the story missions and just explore the world. Sering things I didn't the first time. Enjoying.
Micah betrayed the gang as Kieran saved Arthur’s life in the begging and basically if he went out into the wild the O’drisscols would kill him so he became a part of a game and was helpful so he deserved one not Micah
Notice how Kieran’s grave was pretty dirty and worn it kinda showed how the gang didn’t care for him as much as they did for the other members which is understandable since he use to be a. Odrosckoll
Just realised how much respect we gained for this characters through out the game. I got tears by just seeling their graves. Man RDR 2 is not a game, RDR 2 is real life !

I think its Arthur's honour levels are what change the look of his grave. If you get low, there arent flowers. If it's high, there is flowers.
