I tried that earlier this year but they never got back to me. I ended up buying it at the cheaper price from somewhere else. This was online though, it may be a better service if you go in the store?
I bought one of these on a whim today, because I was packing for a trip and got annoyed with how bulky my existing sleeping bag was even when compressed. Really impressed with how small these OEX ones pack down for the price, and the fabric feels lovely! Looking forward to getting into it this weekend.
Just ordered this bag for the coming months and hopefully next week. But your right the 1c Comfort rating is a bit over co fident you should always add about 3-4 degress onto the co.fort rating they suggest and sleep with layers on. You can always take a fleece off if your to warm its so hard to warm up if you cold though. Great video mate
They are all really nice and comfy. There is a big difference between the 200 and 300 but not a lot of difference between the 300 and 400. Take their limits with a pinch of salt, you need to add a few degrees to each of their comfort limits and completely forget their extreme limits. Excellent value for money sleeping bags, all of them.
Are there two different versions of this sleeping bag? There's the one in your video, labeled "Evolution", and there appears to be a different one currently being sold on Amazon, which lacks the "Evolution" label, and has a number of slight differences. I ordered the latter assuming it was the same thing.
@@BackpackingUKthanks for the reply. Could you recommend another one for £50 or £60. Need 2, for me an my son. Light as possible. Will use a liner and bivvy bag if required for the extra warmth. Will use a trekology mat an highlander foil mat with the bag also. Cheers
Hi nice sleeper that even without those additional offers you mentioned. Do you know the current club card Brice?
The cheapest place to get it is currently on Amazon for £41. It's actually Blacks official Amazon store. Here is the link: amzn.to/3ydGANz
@@BackpackingUK But won't Go Outdoors beat the price If you show them?

Super comfy! You can also use it in the cold with a liner too.

I can’t knock these bags for comfort but the EV300 and EV400 are 3-5 degrees out depending on the tent and mat you have.
I got mine last weekend. Love it. So light and warm for its size and weight. I plan on getting the 200 and 400 just make my OCD calm down 🤣

@@BackpackingUK yeah as a general rule I always add 5 degrees to any sleeping bag when they talk about limits. Especially the extreme limits.
@@BackpackingUK to late by the way. My ocd won and I just ordered the other 2 🤣

I think there’s a slightly newer version out now with different branding.
Great videos mate thanks
Just remember to add 3-4 degrees onto their comfort levels and you’ll be fine 👍
Great videos mate. Have you done any on bivvy bags
Not yet, but it's on the list!
Got the Same one Awesome bag .. also oex furnace 8+ liner .. buzzing
I've got the liner too. It's an easy way of turning a 3 season bag into a 4 season bag!
@@BackpackingUK hope so that’s what thinking .. cheers buddy cheers Chris & Sam
Great review. Thanks
No worries 👍 After using this bag more just make sure you don’t try and use it in winter, you’ll freeze 🥶

Also try the OEX Furnace liner. They genuinely work and they’re compact too👍
Hello mate, great review. Would you recommend the ev200 or the ev300 for spring/summer camps/bivvying at altitude?
Cheers
Jake
The 200 is too thin for spring, it’s a pure summer sleeping bag. Personally, I would go for the 300 👍
@@BackpackingUK thanks for the heads up. Great videos as ever. Keep it up mate
