I've really starting to think about this hot take: No national finals and only internal selections would be a good thing. Yes, it would mean less interest in February/March, but isn't the thing of Eurovision the contesti itself. The national finals get more interest than the actual thing in May. Also, it only makes people mad, because their favorite didn't win.
As for everyone who complains about the results and voting systems and stuff like that, I'm from Finland. Y'all complaining about the 25/75 system, just because Sara lost for that reason. I think there is no good system that would suit everything. Personally, I want us to be represented by the artist/band, who us finns wanted and voted for, not the song that the swedish or spanish jury wants to.
