The funny thing about trying to 100% UFO 50 is you're forced to come face-to-face with your most hated genres and conquer them. I personally enjoy most genres so I didn't dislike any of the games (except Koala Block.) Still, even if you aren't enjoying the games, you make a good show of it lol. Cheers to the 596.
did you finish block koala? I hated puzzle games but trudging through block koala gave me an insatiable appetite for them (I am now playing stephen's sausage roll, help me)
Yeah, I finished it, painfully. I've played many of the great sokoban games so it just felt really slow and unimpressively designed. Stephen's Sausage Roll is a great choice! Lemme recommend some more super great Sokoban games for you, sone of which are directly inspired by Sausage Roll: Baba is You Can of Wormholes A Monster's Expedition Bonfire Peaks Isles of Sea and Sky Patricks Parabox Void Stranger (this game goes DEEP) N-Step Steve Part 1 and 2 (free browser games) Pipe Push Paradise Snakebird A Good Snowman is Hard to Build
@@oposdeo I've played and loved all of those games except Void Stranger which I vicerally hated lol, only one of those that felt like Block Koala to me in that it was insanely tedious and uninteresting and never sparked even a lick of joy in my cold heart Also didnt love Bonfire Peaks that much but only played it for a few hours, the rest of em are great
i think that this game was bad solely because the concept just doesnt work half an hour in at some point in an open world/metroidvania game you just wanna get to playing the game and playing the game in this one is just tedious and grusome that and dan was definetly not very good
I personally found the opposite to be true. The first act of the game was really frustrating because of how little it tells you and often you had to start over before finding or getting to anything that helps you progress in any meaningful way. once I had the tool that gives you more control of the ball and more shots to work with, I felt the game to be a lot more enjoyable to navigate and explore.
