I made two different basic blouses with no opening, but the problem i encountered was that my arm holes rose to my armpits. I wonder what i did wrong.

Hi anjalee, you are a genius and i love the way you explains. what shall i do if i want to put a pati at the end of the blouse? Instead of folding the hem? The problems always occurs in my stitching that my shoulders (15.5 inches) falls and neck became broad. Kindly advise!!! Many thanks, safia
hello,
first of all take properly your shoulder measurement.while giving shoulder measurement ,take half of your shoulder measurement and minus 1''from it.if your shoulder is 15.5 take half of it around 7.7 now minus 1'' from this,which is 6.7....!! mark this.
secondly while taking side fittings make sure your blouse is tight enough .that might be a reason that your shoulder falls.try this and tell me how it came out.bye take care.

Dear Anjalee, I stitched the saree blouse with my measurements according to your green pista blouse instructions, but unfortunately all the front parts dats are not correctly placed. Secondly after stitching the sleeves and side seams. I found at the end of my armhole and the side-seams too much cloth hanging (loose - Jhoeal ) in front parts of the blouse. Anjalee are these DATS are standard and it's applicable for all kind of measurements (SMLXL)?? Please advise me. What shall I do now?? How shall I fix my first blouse?? For my burst size 42.5 inches and shoulder 15.5 inches - What will be my arm-hole size?? I'll be waiting for your reply and many thanks for sending me york patti blouse. I also had the same problem with the sleeves. Too much fabric hanging off. I don't think we needed as much fabric. It was mentioned to take half of the chest measurement but that is leaving too much fabric hanging. I don't know what to do from here. Cut it?
