i made these for my grand fathers MD Infantry group for their 50th reunion. there are only about 20-30 of them left so i made 150. one for every man that has passed already and the ones who are still about to celebrate this reunion! thank you for being able to put a smile on all of their faces! they loved them!
Great idea!! Instead of the colours for this camo, use different amounts of pink gel paste in each colour bowl and follow the same technique as in the video.

I make these all the time. I use regular food coloring. I bought McCormick's black food coloring at Wal-Mart. I also do neon colors for the tye dye effect, and different shades of blue and pink to do the pink and blue camo. I can never get my icing to do what I want it too. Thank you for the new idea on the icing I will have to try that.

Do you mean whipped cream, or just a whipped icing? Either way it would work...but if you're using whipped cream, you will want to make sure it is "stabilized" or it will go runny on you.

you might want to change the brand of gel paste you're using then. we find americolor is excellent to work with.

It probably would of took less time if you but the batter in a piping bag and then place it in the liners. This video is really cool.
