At this point in the game, Relay Sensors and Continuous Signals are your friend! If sets of trains are always taking the same path through a junction or always use the same platforms, they can give you your simple automation much earlier and for much less money. So here you could use continuous signals for the leftmost arrivals and relay sensors to handle the rightmost arrivals. Arrival and Routing Sensors are only really needed once you have more destinations and more complicated paths, so you can get other upgrades sooner. :)
Nearly gave up on this one,, excellent tutorial.. Really Really good on explaining.. Your definitely going 1st class on this route .. (maybe a little cheese-E) I'm back in the game.. Thank U
It seems i can get the same results with perpetual circuit and its tier 1, instead of using departure and arrive sensors. I am sure the others sensors can be more useful, but just thought you would mention the tier 1 perpetual circuit as well.
Thanks for this great video series! I am on the fence about the game - but only because I think it will eat LOTS of the little unallocated time I have. However, I am afraid I know where watching these videos will lead me … 😀👍
@@FACR_Dwarfy My problem is to build up the necessary concentration, so very short bursts seem a waste of that build-up time. (As you can see, I am "in" now - good work, hellish enticer!)
Hi great video, I'm having problems with automated route setting. I put down the triangle signals but sometimes when I press them they glow red and don't set up the route. I'm using a Steamdeck with an inbuilt controller.
I found the steam deck playable for this game but so much better on PC. I am not sure what issue you are having but I have another video coming at the weekend. If that does not help feel free to come post a picture on my discord so we can have a good look at it
@@MasterHellish-Gaming haha I've found the problem. It was user error. Basically what I was doing was clicking on the departure signal at Bubny and the arrival signal at Dejvice which was causing the problem. When I clicked on the departure signal I then clicked the line and it lit up green. Since then I've had no issues.
great tuts! but I'm still having trouble getting my trains to run on time..they always end up having to wait long time before they leave the platforms, causing trains behind them to enter the platform late..grrr
I have ticked Infinite money and all upgrades and tiers. I just cannot get the signalling or sensors to work like you do. I just have to randomly click left and right until eventually a train moves. And why won't the trains auto-reverse? Every single train runs late while I try to get the signals to work It really is a very poorly designed game!!!

This is true. It's in my constitution tutorial but I will also highlight it in my next endless one. Thanks
Best tutorial of this game I've seen so far, even made me consider buying it.
Thank you
I think this is the best guide for auto signals and sensors in rail route. Thanks!
Glad you think so!

Awesome, thank you!
Wow, this was incredibly clear. Exactly what I was looking for. Great job 😊
Glad it was helpful!

Yes its good to note. I think i mention this in the next video and it's in the construction one too.

One of the reasons I like this game is it's very easy to pick up and put down in short bursts if you don't have time for long gaming sessions.
@@MasterHellish-Gaming Looks like that leaves me no excuse not to get it 🤪👍.
Short bursts? I haven’t been able to put it down in anything less than a few hours!
@@FACR_Dwarfy well ya, if you have a few hours it can easily eat that

At 12:10, why did you buy all four platforms at the grey station but never use them? Could you have sold them back until you really needed them?
I guess I didn't need to at that point. But they will be useful later.

I know that it's verified. I'll do a short video and send it you on Discord.

Sounds like you might need to have a play around with the timetable to get things running a bit smoother
Thanks
No worries
How to make stations
You mean in the map maker?

I have a construction tutorial coming out very soon. Hopefully that will help clear up the problems you are having
great! thanks.
