See I desperately want to see it now. The trailer just pumped me up for it. Some of us like when the trailer reveals plenty. I don't go see movies where the trailer doesn't tell me much about it.

okay from what i understand this movie is about this girl who meets a guy who seems charming at first but then turns out to be an abssive guy who she thinks she can change but then meets a guy she had a crush on when she was a teenager and now has to decide between which guy she wants to be with as she is falling in love with both of them.
The book got too much hype tbh. I loved the plot and purpose but it was written in such a basic school-grade manner. The movie looks A LOT better. Can't wait!
A better plot would be, both men are equally amazing but with their flaws as well. Which would you chose? Wouldn't that be a more interesting movie? It's easy to eventually leave the abusive one?
Maybe your query should be: Why do I need this? There are audiences for every single type of movie. If this isn't the type of movie you're interested in watching, you're not being forced to do so.
She just needs to meet a guy like Ryan Reynolds.... THEY would be a good match, but it will probably never happen...
