In this tutorial you can learn on how to paint realistic sunset, crashing waves, orange clouds, lighthouse in the island, red boat and the fisherman. You can also learn on how to paint realistic water reflections, wet sand, white foams on water or bubbles and some other things like rocks. It's a little advanced tutorial but I also recommend this for beginners because it's challenging and you can learn many techniques on this video. is it more challenging to paint on a larger canvas? i would think once you know the teq's and good at mixing... size wouldnt matter.. just up the brush sizes i guess

Hi John, you are an amazing painter, but I have question for you, I understand that you did NOT use any flow mediums or retarders for this wonderful painting, you only thin the paint with bit of water every now and then. It took you about 2:30 hours to finish the painting and you never sprayed the palette or the canvas with water, How you keep your paints from drying ???
I used small amounts of paints so that I would consumed all of it before drying... and then just refill from time to time...

Good morning, I would like to know how to handle in the best way, the shades that you do with only five colors, how to dominate. One always buys acrylics of different colors and their shades, which makes it expensive to practice the art of painting. I'm from Ecuador.
