5:42 have the same umbrella only 2 yrs … why does it only light up in the day light ???

I have bought 2 solar umbrellas from Wayfair within 3 weeks (7 ft and 8ft) and both have one strip that wont light up. What is a easy fix.

Check the connection in the junction box, there might be a loose wire to re solder.

@@OnTheWorkbench my umbrella is kind of similar sorry for the naive question. is the junction box inside where the solar panel is contained or will it be where the light strips all connect to the plug that goes from umbrella into the solar light? thanks!

I took mine apart last nite and it looks like the circuit board is partially corroded - darn. not sure about one that is only 3 weeks old..did you find a work around?

Garbage Product. Lights are on by the switch about an hour or so go back outside to check at dark and nothing. Even replaced battery. Waste of $$
