The flowers in a little vase! I mean, if you're going to do something, do it properly, but what an elegant little touch. The outfit was beautiful, and I wouldn't have called any part of it a mess. If you've been having 30°C+ temps in Holland as we have here in England, that was a monumental achievement just getting to the park.
Thank you for the inspiration of a flower vase. I just bought my fishing license (been fishing since I was 4). This is my excuse to get out of the apartment and into the outside. Living in the downtown of our capital city, this means I can walk down to the river with my kit and fish below Parliament Hill. Mister Husband will be bringing a book. And carrying the picnic basket. Me: must practice my le ploof immediately as I feel mine may be woefully inadequate. Also me: the only thing missing from this delightful event is a book. And then you have one of latest in miniature books! 🤣📚 Lovely ensemble all round.
I've had this fabric for so many years and finally stitched it up this month. With all the straight lines it's a bit repetitive to do by hand, but it was a super enjoyable make, can recommend!

It was a bit of an achievement indeed! But it had to be done for the sole reason of having a picnic with tiny flowers in tiny vase ;)

Improvised turbans are the most comfortable on very hot days, I find. :D
