I bought one last summer and it works perfectly, it doesn't vibrate, it is very quiet. It definitely can't unscrew itself.

@@dailyhauntedhistory mine works great, used it yesterday. Might sound silly but did you try a new battery in the remote? Sometimes the little tabs in remotes like that need a little bending to make contact.
@@patthesoundguy I've messed with it as much as I could take it apart without breaking it. I think it may be a capacitor or something. Works about 75% of the time for me, never works for my wife. It's pretty inconsistent about it. I have tried the battery but no dice.

Fantastic gadget. I was looking for a tiny fan for my closet to move the air and avoid the musty smell. Just install and working great. I will put on my calendar to check monthly to be sure it is not loose or unscrews itself, but in the meantime loving it and love this review!

actually pretty decent and it looks like something I can picture myself using only problem that I have and probably several others I don't have any light sockets that come straight down from the ceiling.
It looks like it only blows downward. If it can go in reverse it would unscrew itself. This means it's only good for circulating heat. A ceiling fan works better if it's pulling hot air up. You don't want to blow hot air from the ceiling down unless you're too cold.
For an extra $25 bucks you can get an actual ceiling fan 😂

Plus installation and all the other stuff needed to get it up nah I'm good this works just fine for me no ceiling has to be broken

It's the perfect size to fit those nice 4 by 4 closet rental apartments.
I could see this being handy maybe in a hot kitchen. Or as an oversized personal fan but this would not be practical and cooling down an entire room. Also I think certain light fixtures could handle this better than others because the one that I have at my house literally broke when I was unscrewing my light bulb so I don't think it's strong enough lol

Seems like with the wobble that every fan has (especially the inexpensive ones) you would eventually have a four bladed spinning weapon heading down! Either unscrewing itself or loosening the fixture would result in the same thing. Get back to us after the dog days of summer and let us know. 😊

In case anyone is wondering why they dont offer the fan to go in ccw we took one apart rewired it to go ccw for fun. It does unscrew itself and fall most of the time despite some youtubers like dan spiffy saying it wont...lol thats why they dont offer it to go ccw and only cw for fanblade rotation.

@@SnotrocketLT4 ya we had one at the shop and was messing with it and rewired it for fun even though one youtuber dan spiffy said it wouldn't and would never unscrew...some people are just ignorant. Needless to say as soon as it was turned on and off and then on again and brought to speed and then turned off again it would have a braking effect from the motor and keep spinning out till it fell completely out.

I would put a brace bracket on the light fixture too much speed and vibration overtime would probably rip the ceiling just in case .

Fans requires a fan rated box. Homeowners can do what they want, but if an actual electrician does this and that porcelain cracks and falls on someones had, he/she will need a good lawyer.

The good stuff
you can calculate the torque created by the turning fan blades, which should revolve anticlockwise when viewed from below. The anticlockwise turn is to avoid the fan turning itself out of it's screw in socket! If the torque exceeds the socket assembly strength, don't allow anyone to sit under the fan, unless you wish them to be decapitated!

Got one that has blades full of leds and can angle the blades can brighten up every corner of my shop with this $16 bulb and its bright .
