EDFC most of the work in UP from Khurja near Delhi to Mughalsarai in the eastern edge of UP is done by March 2023. Next, from Khurja to Ludhiana in Punjab will be done by June 2023. Finally, from Mughalsarai in UP through Bihar and Jharkhand to Dankuni in West Bengal, I’m not sure. I assume lots of land acquisition problems are causing delays in West Bengal, Bihar, and Jharkhand.

But in winters, especially in north India, the front panto is raised so that it can scrape frost from the overhead cable to prevent the frost related debris from falling on the roof mounted electrical equipment. But since it's summer, the most likely explanation is rear panto failure/malfunction.
To everyone saying this project was started in congress regime, just remember the corruption and the pathetic slow pace of construction on grown. Even the hardest critics of Modi agree that he did a wonderful job when to comes to infra and north east

70kmph is quite an improvement. Earlier the average speed of goods train was around 31Kmph. Which means what used to take 2+ days earlier, would arrive in less than 24hrs now.
i always find it wierd when railways employs dual cab locos in multiple mode (@ 1:25min mark) while single cab loco is used in single operation mode (@5:35mark) . piloting a diesel loco with long hood in front is very problematic for the loco pilot as much as possible, Railways should switch to single cab loco in multiple mode (two single locos should be linked together at their long hoods so cabs are on the outer side in both directions) while dual cab locos must be reserved for single loco usage so that when route is reversed, the loco pilot still has a front facing cab which leads to less stress and more convenience to pilot , afterall a relaxed pilot with front view is able to pay more attention to the track than one with restricted view of the track

That men on goods train is called guard men Guard men is the in charge of a running train. Goods Guard will be in charge of a goods train. His duties include : Get the vehicle guidance (VG - written document containing numbers of wagons, their tare weight, load tonnage of individual wagons, total tonnage)from Station Master/Yard Master. Check the entire formation for anything that can endanger safe running of trains. Check that doors of wagons are closed. Check the brake continuity with Loco Pilot. Sign the Brake Power certificate(BPC) after ensuring sufficient brake power Constantly monitor the formation on the run for any abnormalities. Prepare train reports like Combined Train Reports, Late Arrival Reports... Attend along with LP/ALP minor troubles experienced on the run like brake binding etc.
- Question : How are traders' containers transported from the train station to the warehouses? - Answer : The Hilux or something like that car has a hook, and a container for which the wheels are placed at the train station

How is the 2nd loco coming in at 1:49 have its front panto raised? Is the back panto supposed to be raised when going forward?

these freight trains usually go to remote areas like coal mine , ports etc .
