I have listened to this song....this video sooooooo many times in the past several years!!!!! Mahalo for this divine song!!!! Ahhhh this is always my go to song when im in deep prayer for my life partner!!!!
Quah was such a great acoustic album. Got to see Jorma at Wanee in Live Oak, Fl. Unfortunately it was pouring, but I stuck it out. I wasn't going tio miss it.
@tiegs the blues riff between the verses was always in the song. Jorma played it that way in the original version on "QUAH". And there are now several solo versions of Jorma doing this song on UA-cam. Just look up and to the right in the list of related clips.
To all the Haters this was 1997 and was the sickest panic year, all oldschoolers know Im right, I compare this year to the Dead in 77, and yes Iwas at both so Quit hating on JB. Before Garcia passed he said and I quote," if I wasn't touring with the dead I would be out with Widespread Panic because they are so talented!"
The very few negative posts on here about John Bell singing w/ Jorma were probably by Phish fans that feel like they have to talk shit to just be talking shit. Jorma wanted JB singing w/ him and that's what matters. Both men are just overflowing w/ soul and thats what counts.
One of my all time favorite songs. Hauntingly beautiful. How anyone can hear this and not be moved is well beyond me.
clearly one of the best lovesongs ever!
I love this song, once heard two college kids play it in a bar instumental. Amazing, I jumped up freaked out and met two new drinking buds.
This clip is from the movie "The Earth Will Swallow You", which is a great Widespread Panic documentary.
Thanks for posting this. Jorma is one of the great players ever to pick up a guitar. If you don't know Jorma, you don't know Jack.

I beg to differ hair is not right for 2000(Jb's) if you have a date that is certain ....post it
@tiegs - yeah, Jorma is a better guitarist than JB. In other news, Lincoln was a better president than Bush! :) lol.
