Absolutely wonderful. All us musicians can express slight opinions, i think its is in our blood :D Matt Malloy and Paddy are my angels. The green/blue/red boons, plus Gows and O'Neils are almost required Im not a banjoists, but whistles, pipes, gurdys, bodrhan, and occasionally vad guitar is my ham-i-mean&han 🙃 Crabs, rokls, stops, and especially on tenor banjo quick succinct picking+as oppised to claw hammer ir dixie) is critical . Love your video. Dont stop. It is just joy.
Practicing for how many hours per day for how many years gets you to 110 BPM? Clearly, playing a session is the cherry on top for all of us. Despite that making me feel a bit anxious, I am really enjoying the journey that you offer us through your course. Not to mention the trajectories (rabbit holes) we all explore together. I’d recommend this to anybody that wants to know more about the Irish tenor, banjo. I am really enjoying the community that is forming around this very unique topic. Thank you, Enda.
I joined a few days ago at the monthly rate, just to see if I would like the method, the SoundSlice platform, etc., and after poking around a bit, I dig it. I will be definitely digging into this lesson.
Ends I am big fan of Webanjo3 you are the most professional group I’ve ever heard Now I love your technique on teaching I practice for hours but I can’t seem to be able to do triplets when I start to get fast is it really important Regards Pat
There are a number of factors including pick hold, hand position, pick direction, picking angle, pick slanting. But ultimately it’s just one note played three times and sometimes over thinking it is the biggest problem 😂

110bpm @ what beat per minute? In 4/4 time 110bpm is medium slow as those beats are of course crotchets. That's the point of time signatures. 4/4 = 4 crotchet beats per bar. If you start counting the beat as a minim though, then obviously 110bpm becomes very fast, as it is of course now actually 220bpm. 110 minims per minute equalos 220 crotchets per minute. So: BPM in 4/4: crotchet beats per minute. 1-2-3-4. In 4/4: 60bpm is a ballad 90bpm is a medium/slow piece 120bpm is classic disco, not too fast, not too slow. 180, 240, 300bpm: bebop, Charlie Parker etc, becoming blindingly fast. Donna Lee.

I use a metronome app and I put in 110 and this came out!
