That's what I was thinking, it looks a lot like an exodia draw deck. What blows my mind the most about this is that there's not just a draw 7 card for less than half your life, but that it's not even a once per turn.
One thing i recommend on these longer videos, would be to maybe have an image of the card on screen, or to have the cards on the mat and have the camera focus on the matt instead. I would recommend summoner's pact if possible before you keep drawing with griselbrand to thin out the chance of getting another creature from the draw.
I used to have a variant of this deck back when Simian Spirit Guide and Once Upon a Time was still legal. Was a lot more consistent because of additional "free mana" options and free creature search spell on turn 0. Veil of Summer was another way to protect yourself from Thoughtseize and Counters even if it mean going to turn 2 or 3. As an alternative win-con since you plan to draw your deck you could always end with Laboratory Maniac or Thassa's Oracle. This was my win-con rather than attacking in for damage and bypasses most fog effects. Manamorphose was an additional card-draw and mana fixer. Since it fixes mana it makes adding different win-cons in different colors a possibility. Lightning Storm was another win-con option. Once you've drawn most of your deck you should have enough lands to discard to deal 20+ damage directly to your opponent. Your opponent can activate the ability as well but you should have more lands then them to win the exchange. Discard enough for lethal, pass priority and go back and forth till you win the exchange. Probably the best cards against this deck are cards with Split Second or Thoughtseize if you don't go first. Sideboarding Leyline of Sanctity is an option to protect from Thoughtseize and since you plan to mulligan with this deck you have a few chances to see it in your opening hand. Angel's Grace is the perfect counter as it pretty much shuts down your ability to win and you will lose during your upkeep if you had played any Pact cards. It only requires 1 white mana too I would say its better than Path to Exile in this match up. In response to Path they may be able to draw a counter spell but they can't do that with Split Second on the stack. Trickbind or Wipe Away would be really good to interfere with your combo if they had the mana and you are on the slower side. Sudden Shock could kill Laboratory Maniac. Figured I'd share some options that easily shut this down if you aren't going first for a turn 0 win.
"Opps all spells" ruined magic for me, as the loss of SSG nerfed this deck into oblivion, as well as 3 land charbelcher just being obsoleted, two decks I found very fun for their goofball strategies. Too many fun cards had to be banned to make way for a mechanic that really took away a lot of the creativity that was necessary in deckbuilding.
Why do more competitive players rifle through their cards so much? It drives nuts! I look at my hand, put it in an order of when I think I’ll play each card, and mostly don’t mess with it.
You're actively giving your opponent information they shouldn't have like when you playing the rightmost card you just drew, or that there's a card you've been sitting on for four turns now). It's unfortunately optimal to always mix up your hand whenever you draw a card to avoid giving your opponent free information.

Not sure how long you've been creating videos, but I happened to like what I saw here. Pros: you do you and that's all you need. 💙 Cons: card shuffling leads to confusion on where your convo/explanation is at vs. Where it's going, double-check your math, etc. All in all I appreciated your explanation and your interaction in the comments. :)
@MTG Deckmasters I appreciate your ability to accept criticisms, and I know firsthand that it's visually harder to track a conversation with that background activity. I still think you did a superb job universally, and will be looking into the other videos you have made as well! Thanks again for this content. :)
Instead of flicking the cards around in your hand, hold them still and fanned out so the viewer can see. The flicking is fine at FNM, but I'm trying to see your hand.
Me an Infect player: Oh, a deck that is faster than me? *clicks video* 🤔 *explanation of how deck works* 😵💫 No thank you. As fun as it is to end games on turn 1, I think I'll stick to ending them on turn 2 in like 3 minutes.
Fidgetting with the cards in your hand was quite distracting in the video. You fan them out, fan them in, twiddle with their edges, then shuffle them in hand, and repeat the process.
Botanical sanctum in the very beginning, comes tapped unless there is a card in your hand that was not fully explained properly? So, that hand isn't the first turn kill? Am I missing something?
STOP Talking with your hands when holding the cards! And stop the constant hand shuffling of cards in hand when talking! Both are sooo annoying and difficult when WATCHING a video. And at 6:00 your math needs help: 21 - 7 is 14, not 15. So you're at 26 at 6:58. So at 19 next. So then up to 26 with the 7CMC card. Then down to 12 at 8:54. Turn 1, you lose for doing wrong math.
@@MTGDeckmasters Even then, Solitude has more targets (elves) and the deck is a one trick pony. If your combo gets ruined you can't come back. It Mulligans a lot and loses to chalice for 0 mana. No reason why I shouldn't play Titan instead. Good video though.

lmao every tcg is slow compared to yugioh lmao
i thought you could only use a creatures spell once per turn?
No. I don't know who told you that but they are wrong.
Not sure how long you've been creating videos, but I happened to like what I saw here.
Pros: you do you and that's all you need. 💙
Cons: card shuffling leads to confusion on where your convo/explanation is at vs. Where it's going, double-check your math, etc.
All in all I appreciated your explanation and your interaction in the comments. :)
Thanks I appreciate it! I'll make sure to improve my math on the next one lol
@MTG Deckmasters I appreciate your ability to accept criticisms, and I know firsthand that it's visually harder to track a conversation with that background activity. I still think you did a superb job universally, and will be looking into the other videos you have made as well! Thanks again for this content. :)
Worldspine worm is a another Option for high mana value
Yes but it's not as expensive as Authocton Wurm, so I'd rather play more copies of that one.
thats a french canadien accent xD i'm sure of it.We have the same dukin voice
You are spot on😂
When did MtG turn into Yu Gi Oh? Great video!
Outside Standard it always been like this actually ( or pretty close ) 😅
5:56 21-7=14 not 15
brother dont wave the cards around when we tryn to read them. That dino gonna be sick
And the deck will make my opponent sick!
I want to try this on my cousin but I'm pretty sure he would just forfeit and never talk to me again after 3 mins of my turn
Do people have fun playing these infinite type decks...?
Yes, I am one of them
I think the fun is building it
botanical sanctum enters tapped idk why hes using it otherwise
No it does not come into play tapped
@@MTGDeckmasters im sorry im illiterate sometimes
This is really cool
Instead of flicking the cards around in your hand, hold them still and fanned out so the viewer can see. The flicking is fine at FNM, but I'm trying to see your hand.
It's an addiction bro I can't help it😂
Sexy card flick. Only took 5sec too lol
Me an Infect player:
Oh, a deck that is faster than me?
*clicks video*
🤔
*explanation of how deck works*
😵💫
No thank you. As fun as it is to end games on turn 1, I think I'll stick to ending them on turn 2 in like 3 minutes.
You have to jump through a bunch of hoops to win on the first turn in modern
This is why I love Magic, what a ridiculous deck.
Same here!
If my apponent didn’t tap the land that was tapped when put into play I’d not play with the *4:17
Fidgetting with the cards in your hand was quite distracting in the video. You fan them out, fan them in, twiddle with their edges, then shuffle them in hand, and repeat the process.
I can't help it😂
I need that playmat!
What name would you put on it?
me who just entered the tournament to chill and spend time with some other players...
21-7 is 15....right...
Someone please send this to Seth or HarryMTG
Botanical sanctum in the very beginning, comes tapped unless there is a card in your hand that was not fully explained properly? So, that hand isn't the first turn kill? Am I missing something?
No, it comes untapped when you have 2 or fewer other lands
I detect a french Canadian accent. Am i wrong?
Je suis québécois mon cher
STOP Talking with your hands when holding the cards! And stop the constant hand shuffling of cards in hand when talking! Both are sooo annoying and difficult when WATCHING a video. And at 6:00 your math needs help: 21 - 7 is 14, not 15. So you're at 26 at 6:58. So at 19 next. So then up to 26 with the 7CMC card. Then down to 12 at 8:54. Turn 1, you lose for doing wrong math.
"simple right?" laughs in the most basic yugioh combos
"Solitude"
"In response, draw 7 with Griselbrand. Nourishing Shoal to gain a bunch of life. Draw 7 again. Pact of Negation your solitude."
@@MTGDeckmasters Even then, Solitude has more targets (elves) and the deck is a one trick pony. If your combo gets ruined you can't come back. It Mulligans a lot and loses to chalice for 0 mana. No reason why I shouldn't play Titan instead. Good video though.
I'd be scared to deck out
Just don't activate Griselbrand when you have less than 7 cards in your deck!
A M A Z I N G!!
Guy, if you do that on match, I rage quit directly lol
Trust me you are not the only one😂
That must be that new common core math... 21 - 7 = 15 lol
