Shovel Knight NG+: All Levels, No Damage

- Shovel Knight's New Game Plus allows you to keep all the upgrades you acquired the first time through, but makes the game harder in response - everything hits twice as hard, there are fewer checkpoints, and almost all the food platters in the game contain bombs instead of meat! As a result, NG+ is harder than the normal game.
I made this walkthrough partly as a gameplay exhibition but mostly as a guide for people having problems getting through the game/NG+! The video gives strategies for tougher encounters within the levels, help defeating trouble bosses (especially the boss rush at the end), and shows some ideas for getting through the levels quicker.
Each level was done individually (I'm not good enough to beat the game start to finish in one take without getting hit!), but each individual level is unsegmented, start to finish. As a result of the segmenting, you'll see a few splicing hiccups, namely when I'm starting each wandering side encounter. Otherwise, I tried to edit the full video to be as seamless as possible!
This walkthrough assumes you collected most of the relics the first time around (which isn't hard to do, mind you). The only relics NOT used at some point are the Coin, the Mobile Gear, and the Fishing Rod. I use the Dynamo Mail for my armor, and the Ground Spark and Power Slash for the shovel. Max magic is highly recommended.

Okay, I'm only 10 minutes in, but I gotta say it.
THIS. THIS is why I like Shovel Knight as a Hero! The fact that he's that bound and determined to save his lady that he just plows through EVERYTHING and doesn't even get hurt is awesome! Plus the movements are timed pretty well with the music in the Fields of Passage.

The Dynamo Mail is so good! It's easily my favorite, but I usually switch to the flashy useless armor for NG+ just for the flips and twinkles.

New Game+ is very difficult. I'm on the 2nd last stage (boss rush) and I keep dying before the checkpoint. I almost snapped my DS in half.

i don't even blame you for using phase locket during the plague knight fight, not getting hit once in that battle is hella hard.
i think this game could be convert in to NEC PC engine game, this console was 8 bit with 16 bit feature and able to manage the parralaxe scroling of this game with the same graphic quality. but the sound of the chiptune was different, but with the Super CD ROM add on, no problem.
What’s new about now game plus
NG+ makes it a lot easier I think, I still think it's cool you did it, but when you decide not taking damage in NG+ it's the same as a normal playthrough while not taking damage except you already have all the items

ugh on new game+ boss rush and idk if i can ever do this x'D been months since i quit p[laying it, i beat it when it first came out then did new game+ to the order of no quarter level and fuck me i see why i stopped haha I can't even remember the boss tactics it has been so long

Well, you're right, and it doesn´t matters if your life runs out quicker, beacuse you got more magic. Right now I found the Phase Locket a cheat.
